There doesn't seem to be some crisis that started in 2020, even the one source discusses ongoing issues, not some new crisis (e.g. "Since early 2019 the combined impact of all these factors has been to turn the Eastern Mediterranean crisis into a perfect storm. " shows that the crisis predates 2019, not that it started in 2020). Greece-Turkey tensions are ever ongoing, and the Cyprus situation goes back decades as well.
