Please, can someone make this go to the recently created
Terrence Des Pres? In this way, the link from
Carolyn Forche's page will start to work properly instead of being red. Thank you!
Question. Should the d be uppercase or lowercase? If it should be uppercase please fix
Carolyn Forche. If it should be lowercase we should move
Terrence Des Pres to
Terrence des Pres. I will make the redirect anyway as a plausible mispelling.

The Blissfield Adrian an alt/rock experimental group based out of Akron, OH and Chicago, IL. Their name is taken from the two bordering CD's in Michigan (Blissfield, and Adrian). Ohio. Members Eric Ortopan and Maro Hilj found the name off of an exit sign heading north on Route 23 from Ohio while traveling in their previous band, and Scott Hoyer used to drive that same stretch while attending Eastern Michigan University.
Formation
Eric Ortopan and Marco Hilj formed their previous band "Jaded Era" while in High School touring the greater US opening up for such acts ranging from Local H, to Bon Jovi. Upon the bands break-up Eric contacted Scott Hoyer of the bands "Clockwork Lolita", and "The Mawdryn Undead" who he went to high school with, to begin a new project, that would eventually become "The Blissfield Adrian".
History
After experimenting with what would become their new sound, "The Blissfield Adrian" released their first single "Cathedral" on Strangeluv Records in early of 2006.
Recording for their debut album "Metropolitain" began later that year and commenced with the release on itunes in May of 2007. "Metropolitain" was the culmination of work from music that was lingering from past bands along with new material written by both Eric and Scott. The album was named after the transportation system in France that brings people to and fro but is also considered a work of art. It included the singles "Into the Blue", "Tequila Rain", and "Around the World"
Their sophomore album was written during the summer and winter of 2007 and was a departure from their previous work. "...and into the Twilight" was recorded more as a full story-telling album from beginning to end following the journey one takes from the loss of something dear but finding another path that is truly made for them. "...and into the Twilight" was released on Strangeluv Records through iTunes in August of 2008.
"The Blissfield Adrian" is currently working on an EP of new music to co-inside with an as yet to be named short film project.
