Hello, the Ticonderoga Heritage Museum also known as the 1888 building, details the industrial history of the Ticonderoga NY area. Lake George sits 220 feet higher than Lake Champlain, and empties into Lake Champlain through the LaChute river. Many industries used that constant water power from 1755, through today. Our primary industrial "ancestors" are Ticonderoga Pulp and Paper/International Paper, and American Graphite/Joseph Dixon crucible company (The world famous Ticonderoga pencils). We examine the use of water, trees, rock and minerals, and the various mills and factories that used them. We also provide free children’s programs during the summer..Our gift shop makes available the products of local artists and craftsfolk.

steve virgonaSteve virgona is a professional real tennis player based in philadelphia. Steve is the world number four, by handicap, and a world doubles champion. Steve's major victories include the australian open in 2007, the british pro and the us open. careerSteve started his career as a professional at the ballarat real tennis club before moving to melbourne at the age of 18. Steve gained much success early playing doubles, and reached the final of the british open in 2001. Steve worked as a professional in london, primarily at the boroughs club, before moving back to melbourne in 2004. After securing a position in philadelphia in 2006, steve's tennis improved markedly and his ranking rose to world number 2. Steve beat world champion robert fahey twice in 2006, but lost his world championship campaign to tim chisholm that year. Steve's tennis continued to improve, winning the australian open, and he entered the 2008 world champs as favourite to challenge fahey. Unfortunately he lost narrowly to cam riviere in the final eliminator. He got revenge room after in the us open. sourcesWww.irtpa.com Sources

Vice Grip is a fictional character from the "Transformers: Beast Wars" toyline and comicbook series.
Vice Grip has one actual appearance in print. In addition, there are two official character entries for Vice Grip and a possible allusion to the character in the first issue of the "Transformere: Wreckers" comic. The initial, and only, release of the toy was packaged with a profile card that listed Vice Grip as an advisor and confidant for other Predacons. The other characer profile was published in early 2008 by IDW comics in the fourth issue of the "Beast Wars Sourcebook", written by Benson Yee and Simon Furman. Vice Grip is written as a bit more introspective than in the original Botcon profile, but there is little enough actually changed about the character. Vice Grip's only full appearance in fiction was part of a script-reading at BotCon 1998. Vicegrip and several other Predacons engaged, and were defeated by, a group of Maximals. This story was gag-heavy, and involved a good deal of "breaking the fourth wall", making its exact place in context difficult to judge. Additionally, material, having nothing to do with Vice Grip, has been published since 1998 that largerly contradicts much of the old BotCon continuity,. Regardless, Vicegrip's fate after his defeat here is untold. The BotCon 2001 comic, "Departure", makes a possible reference to Vice Grip's fate. Another character references a dead friend. No details are given about the friend. But, some readers speculate it may have been Vice Grip. As the story was left largely unfinished, this detail may be over-written at some point. ToysVice Grip was released as a convention exclusive at BotCon in 1998. The toy was a blue and grey recolor of the mass-released Powerpinch action figure. According to www.botcon.com, there were 600 Vice Grip toys produced. Vicegrip's beast mode is generally assumed to be an earwig. Sources-Vice Grip's first character profile can be found online at: http://www.botcon.com/archive/story/characters/vicegrip.html -Vice Grip's second character profile can be found in the fourth issue of the "Beast Wars Sourcebook", published in 2008. -Vice Grip's only full appearance can be round in "Visitations", as read at BotCon 1998, or found online at: http://www.botcon.com/archive/story/1998/98script.html -A possible reference is made to Vice Grip in the 2001 BotCon comic, "Departure". It can be found here: http://www.botcon.com/archive/story/2001/page22.jpg

Os Caneiros is a festival held each year in the municipality of Bergondo, A Coruña in the province of Galicia in Spain in the month of August following the festival of San Roque. The festival dates back to 1880 and is said to have started when a group of people, after celebrating the three major festival days of San Roque ending August 17th, took a boat on the 18th of August from Betanzos, along the Mendeo river and landed at a place called "Campo dos Caneiros" to enjoy an afternoon of lunch, singing and bagpipe playing. Today, Festival attendees set out for the festival grounds from Bergondo by foot, automobile or most traditionally by boat, many of which are decorated with flowers, palm leaves and paper lanterns. Though the timing of Os Caneiros is aligned to the religious festival of San Roque, Os Caneiros is not considered a religious festival. Festival attendees or "Romeros" as they are called, fortify themselves for the festival with local and regional favorites such as empanada, Tortilla Española, Pulpo a la Feria and drink wines of the region such as Albarino and Ribeiro. Over the years Os Caneiros has grown to be a major festival with up to 50,000 visitors attending from around the province of Galicia, throughout Spain and indeed the world. The festival days are the 18th and 25th of August.

Alex Pama, born November 23rd, 1972 in Washington DC, USA, is the current General Manager at Dutch first division side, SC Cambuur Leeuwarden. He started this position in 2006 and he took over from care taker boss, Harjan van Dam, who lead the club out of bankruptcy. Pama's job is to build the club from the ground on up and move it back to the ere-divisie within five years. Pama is the first US born executive to hold such a position within an European professional football organization. Before working in the Netherlands, he worked for several youth clubs all over the United States, most recently in Atlanta, Georgia. He also worked for the Arkansas State Soccer Association. Besides working for soccer organizations in the US, he held several marketing and sales positions at Randstad North America and Gevity HR.
