It originated with Álaú´d-Din Sayyid Muhammad Nurbakhsh (d. 1464/869 e.H), originally a Sunni muslim but with strong Shii proclivities. His son and successor, Shah Sayyid Qasim Faydbakhsh (d. 1511/917), was still alive when the Safavids of Persia came to power. At this time the order became Shii and achieved considerable prominence. Many eminent Shii ulama of the early and middle Safavid period were afilitated to this order: Shaykh Bahaí, Mulla Muhsin-i Fayd and Qadi Nurullah Shustari. The order was especially influential in the evolution of the Hikmat-i Illahi of the School of Isfahan. In the beginning of the 16th century, the order was firmly established in northern India (Kashmir and Jammu) where pockets of believers still gather. However, since the beginning of the 21st century, the order has mainly relocated to Europe, were it mainly caters to individuals, in the manner of Shiite gnosticism,or irfan. The present Qutb/Pir of the order is a Swedish convert, located in a small village in Central Sweden: Ali Husayn Abdár-Rahman Hikmatullahi-Nurbakhshi. The order is sometimes called Al-Akbariyyah, since it considers Ibn Arabi (ash-Shaykh al-Akbar: "the greatest Shaykh) as one of its founders. The Silsilah/Golden Chain of the order: Prophet Muhammad Ali ibn Abi Talib, 1st Imam Ali ar-Rida, 8th Imam aruf al-Kharkhi Abu´l-Qasim al-Jurjani Ahmad al-Ghazzali Abu´n-Najib as-Suhrawardi Najmu´d-Din Kubra Alaú´d-Din as-Simnani Ibn Arabi Ali al-Hamadani Khwaja Ishaq Khutlani Muhammad Nurbakhsh Shah Qasim Faydbakhsh Ali Husayn Abdúr-Rahman Hikmatullahi SourcesMomen, Moojan: An introduction to Shií Islam, 1985. 0-300-03499-7. As part of their regular service to the church, the choir sings at the 7 PM mass every 1st, 2nd, and 5th Sunday of the month at the Imus Cathedral. Inspired by the successes of all the Filipino choirs that has brought honor to us, Filipinos as a nation, IMUSICAPELLA is not an exception. It has the same purpose to continuously promote, advance and uphold Philippine culture, in the country and internationally, through an abiding commitment to choral excellence which all Filipino choirs are world-renowned for. They have become steadfast in their goal of attaining choral distinction and recognition as one of the Philippines’ finest vocal ensembles. In response to the numerous invitations after the group’s highly successful 1st European Tour in 2003, the group embarked on their 2nd European Tour in April this year, once again, Imusicapella is reaping honors not only for their hometown but for our country as well. In May, at the 5th Harmonie Festival, an international choral competition held every six years in Lindenholzhausen (Limburg), Germany, IMUSICAPELLA, with only 8 singers bagged the First Prize in the Mixed Chamber Choirs – Vocal Group Category. Most recently, on September 21 to 26, 2005, IMUSICAPELLA participated at the 1st Mięedzynarodowego Festiwalu Chóralnego Mundus Cantat 2005 in Sopocki (Gdánsk), Poland. The group participated at the 46. Festival Sborovho Umn Jihlava 2003 (46th International Festival of Choral Art) at Jihlava, the Czech Republic in June 2003. As part of the festival, Imusicapella was given the honor to hold a concert together with Australia’s premiere choir, the AUSTRALIAN VOICES at the birthplace of one of the Czech Republic’s most celebrated composers, Gustav Mahler at the town of Kelişste. At the 3rd Johannes Brahms Internationaler Chorwettbewerb 2003 at Wernigerode, Germany, they won the 2nd Prize (Golden Diploma) for the Gospel and Spiritual Category, 3rd Prize (Golden Diploma) for the Folklore Category and 5th Prize (Silver Diploma) for the Mixed Choirs Category. Imusicapella is the recipient of the first Grand Prix Award in the ten – year history of the said biennial event, considered as one of the toughest in Europe. And at the 51st Concorso Polifonico “Guido d’ Arezzo in Italy, Imusicapella placed 4th in the Mixed Choirs Category. Likewise, the group represented the Philippines in three other international choral festivals; the 5th Jornadas Internacionales Musica Coral in Burgos and the 22nd Semana Coral Internacional de Alava in Spain and the International UNESCO Choir Festival in Alzenau, Germany. IMUSICAPELLA was given the honor of concluding all three festivals. IMUSICAPELLA is a non-profit, amateur choir composed of eighteen young professionals and students coming from Imus and its nearby towns in Cavite under the baton of Tristan Caliston Ignacio. Tristan, 27, a BS Tourism graduate, started handling Imusicapella in 2002 and since then, the choir has undergone its transition from a music ministry to a legitimate choral ensemble. They have been successful in achieving top prizes locally and nationally. They won the 1st Prize of the Region IV Finals and the 2nd Prize in the National Finals of the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ 2002 National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) – Mixed Choirs Category. Just before they embarked on their tour in 2003, Imusicapella won the Grand Prize of the First Wedding Expo “Voice of Memories” Choral Competition held in Manila among others. With all these successes, IMUSICAPELLA is indisputably, the most successful church choir from the Philippines, so far to venture the competitive world of choral music. Imusicapella has recorded three CDs in Germany, “You are the Light”, “Imusicapella, Live in Concert” and again this year, “One More Gift”. In the face of the catastrophes and political turmoil that has befallen our nation the past years IMUSICAPELLA aims to enhance their cultural responsiveness, to carry on their goal as Imus’ Cultural Ambassadors of Goodwill. 43rd Montreux Choral Festival Results Apr 15, '07 2:18 PM for everyone Montreux Choral Festival 2007 Vevey – Montreux, Switzerland April 10 – 14, 2007

He was part of the UST Singers’ International Concert Tours in Europe, Mexico and the USA in 1998 – 2001 where they competed and won in some of the world’s most prestigious choral competitions in Tours, France; Gorizia, Italy; Varna, Bulgaria; Miedzyzdroje, Poland; Arezzo, Italy and Spittal, Austria.

An old Japanese unit of weight, equalling 1/1000 kan. Starting in the 18th century, through trade with Japan, this became a measure of the quality of silk cloth. The basis was more was better, so heavier weight, containing more silk fiber (actually mass per unit area) was deemed more valuable. It is the weight in pounds, of 100 yards of silk cloth 45 inches wide. This corresponds to 3.63 grams per square yard, or 4.34 grams per square meter. Jewelers still use this unit to measure cultured pearls, where it is equivalent to 3.75 grams. The lightest silk gauze has a range of 3mm to 5mm, sheer silk chiffon would be 6mm to 8mm. Silk habutai ranges from 6mm all the way up to about 18mm. Silk sheets are made from 12mm to 19mm, (the heavier 16mm to 19mm considered best for durability). Silk suiting is commonly made with 22mm. Silk upholstery fabric ranges from light weight 20mm up to 45mm heavy weight. Raw silk also ranges from 35mm to 40mm. ANOTHER THEORY: There was an "Old Man Douglas" (aka Coach DAD) who used to inhabit the "gridiron". In those days, there was no such thing as a "football field". Instead, boys equipped in leather helmets would chase each other around and tackle each other. Then, one day, a man invented the forward pass, bringing new excitement and strategy to a game that had only featured carrying an oblong shaped ball called a "pigskin" through a goal line to score. With the invention of the forward pass, circa 1905, Coach DAD saw new opportunities for victory. And thus, "Rudapest" was born. It terrified opponents with its incisive and ruthless ability to pick apart defenses. No one had seen such a weapon; no one could defend it. Coach DAD was heralded as an "offensive genius who inspired the greats - Rockne, Lombardi, Halas, and Gibbs." After his first Super Bowl victory, Joe Gibbs stated, with tears in his eyes, "The Dolphins just hadn't seen 'Rudapest'. Joe Theisman came to me at halftime and said, 'Coach, you know what we need.' 'Yes, Theisman, you are right - it is time to honor Coach DAD and run 'Rudapest' to victory." We all know the rest of the story - but how fitting that Coach DAD's beloved Redskins earned their first championship through the ingenuity of a humble man who built a humble play. Little fame came to Coach DAD, as he preferred glory to go to his players, the young men who practiced "Rudapest" on the gridiron, in their dorm rooms, in their sleep. Many football scholars credit Coach DAD with bringing football into the modern era, although no bronze bust of his resides in the Football Hall of Fame. YET ANOTHER THEORY: This other David Douglas was honored by the City of Alexandria, and given a Presidential Medal of Distinction for his "Expertise in Teenagery." For adolescents, he literally broke down doors to make their world and the worlds of many a happier place. In the classroom, David put in place a strict "No Child Left Behind With a Grade Below 90" policy, which has been adopted department- and school- wide to this very day. Additionally, David Douglas developed/invented an iron-clad classification for camera borrowing; the system catalogs number sharpied onto the bottom of each device, starting with 1 and going to as staggeringly high as 24. Each borrower signs out and then in any piece of equipment. Both Melvil Dewey and the Library of Congress have recognized David Douglas for his stream-lining organization tactics that eliminate frustration and error. Sources

SourcesSarah Larson is the luckiest of all the ladies it seems. She is George Clooney’s beautiful girlfriend and it seems that things between the two of them are getting really serious. Sarah was George’s date to the Oscars on Sunday night, a first for Clooney. He had always previously attended the Academy Awards stag. So who is Sarah Larson? How did she meet George, and more importantly, how did she manage to steal his heart? Well, before she was decked out in diamonds and couture, she was pouring drinks at the Palms in Las Vegas. Sarah worked at the Palms Casino hotel, first as a cocktail waitress at Ghost (pictured below at an event at the hotel in July 2006), then as a VIP hostess at another N9NE Group club in the hotel, Moon, where “She would bring in clients to the club,” a source says. “The hosts are like salespeople and they help create an atmosphere at a party.” “She’s really cool,” a former regular customer says. “She’d take shots of tequila with us, we always asked for her to be our waitress. All the girls who worked at the club, they were all hot, obviously, but everyone asked for Sarah as their server. George Clooney isn’t the first guy to notice her, you know.” She dated Las Vegas media mogul Ryan Doherty, who owns 944 magazine, for about a year, but that was all before George walked into her life. Sarah, 29, met the Oscar winner at the premiere of Ocean’s 13 at the CineVegas film festival on June 7, 2007; there was a party for the cast at Moon. As luck would have it, Sarah served him drinks. An insider says that George, 46, was so smitten that he tracked down the manager, Daryl, and begged him to let Sarah leave work early to hang out with him. “And everyone knows you don’t say no to George,” the Palms insider reveals. After they met, she continued working, but kept talking to George. “He’d give her a call and say, ‘Fly out for the weekend, come visit,’ and Sarah would go see him,” a friend says. But a few months later, as their relationship progressed, Sarah quit her $200,000 plus job to be with George— a risky move, but one that anyone who saw the couple at the Oscars would agree has paid off. “He didn’t tell her to quit her job, just at some point they had a conversation about it when things got serious,” another friend says. “She still has her house in Vegas that she sometimes goes back to, but ever since the motorcycle accident [in September 2007], they’ve been pretty much going everywhere, from his house in Lake Como, his house in Malibu, to Dubai, the Venice Film Festival, et cetera. She’s been exposed to this new lifestyle, hanging with George and his friends, which include Brad [Pitt] and Angelina [Jolie], Matt [Damon] and Luciana [Barroso],” another friend explained. “She’s like a really cool chick. She’s hot, cool, strong and independent,” this friend of Sarah’s added. There’s definitely something about this Sarah, who has succeeded where so many of George’s previous women — including actress Krista Allen, British TV host Lisa Snowdon and Renée Zellweger — have failed. Nobody would’ve ever guessed that a winner of a reality TV show (Fear Factor) would be the one to win the heart of Hollywood’s most notorious bachelor. 75.62.153.233 ( talk) 21:45, 29 February 2008 (UTC) reply

If you want to make changes and try again, copy and paste your article into a new submission and make your changes there. The Nurbakhshi tariqah is a Twelwer Shiite tariqah (religious order). Under the baton of its musical director, Tristan Caliston Ignacio, Imusicapella was among the seven choirs from across the globe that competed in three contest categories. Contingents from Finland, Spain, Uganda, three American choirs and the Philippines were selected in this maiden event. The results of the competitions were announced at the closing concert on Sunday, July 1st . During the competition, Imusicapella was housed by gracious Filipino–Americans in the Los Osos–Morro Bay, California area through the efforts of Mr. Dick Pacaoan. Imusicapella is currently on their 3rd International Concert Tour covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France and for the first time, the United States of America; New York, California, Nebraska, Iowa, Virginia and Texas. At the 43rd Montreux International Choral Festival in April 2007 in Montreux – Vevey, Switzerland, Imusicapella won the grand prix, the prix du public and the “Ville de Vevey Prize” for the Best Programming and Interpretation. Interestingly, Imusicapella is one of the two most successful choirs in the competition’s history by bagging three of the four major awards. Imusicapella was among the 6 mixed chamber choirs and 7 female choirs admitted from 75 choirs worldwide who applied for this year’s 10th Internationaler Kammerchor Wettbewerb in Marktoberdorf, Germany. Imusicapella placed 4th in the mixed chamber choirs’ category achieving a “very good international level”. And for the first time in the 10 – year history of the Marktoberdorf Choir Competition, the Publikums Preis (Public Prize) was awarded to Imusicapella. The competition’s youngest conductor at 29, Tristan Caliston Ignacio also won the “Pro Musica Viva Maria Strecker – Daelen – Preis”, the competition’s Best Conductor’s Prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary work, Ruben Federizon’s Gabaq–An. Furthermore, Imusicapella represented the Philippines at the 15th Festival International de Chant Choral de Nancy 2007 in France. Imusicapella was given the honor to conclude the Gala de Cloture (Closing Concert), a privilege reserved for the “Best Choir” in the festival. Imusicapella is one of the church choirs based at the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in Imus, Cavite. Founded in 2002, Imusicapella is a non-profit, amateur, self – supporting choir composed of nineteen young professionals and students coming from Imus and its nearby towns in Cavite. As part of their regular service to the church, the choir sings at the 7 PM mass every 1st, 2nd, and 5th Sunday of the month. The IMUSICAPELLA Chamber Choir is one of the church choirs based at the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in Imus, Cavite. Two years ago, IMUSICAPELLA embarked on its First International Tour and went on a six – month European sojourn. The group has staged concerts and represented the Philippines in several international choral competitions and festivals in Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, France and the Netherlands. IMUSICAPELLA was highly successful at the 10th Festival Choral International de Neuchatel 2003 in Switzerland wherein they won the 1st Prize, Mixed Choirs Category, the Prix du Public (Public Prize) and the “Grand Prix FCIN”.
