Working on this article has presented two challenges: 1. Pre-European contact so not much is known about Agaja and 2. Big scholarly debate about his motivations. Any peer review on how the article deals with these problems: 1. does it show the limits of knowledge about him? and 2. does it represent the debate reasonably? Any other help greatly appreciated, I'm getting the 1835 book with a picture of him sent to me and so will actually have an image for him soon. Going for GAN.
