An IP hopping user who's been vandalizing cartoon/movie/video game related articles since 2008. Vandalism was blatant in their earlier edits but became sneakier after subsequent blocks. User now mainly falsifies release dates. The article Cookie Jar TV has been a constant target of this user; as well as articles related to Hanna-Barbera cartoons such as The Quick Draw McGraw Show, Tom and Jerry: The Movie, and The Good, the Bad, and Huckleberry Hound.
Discussion transcluded from talk page I don't see how that can be the case for a persistent, long term IP-hopper. This guy will never receive a single block for a duration of a year because he keeps switching IP addresses after a being blocked. I looked through closed investigated reports with similar situations. That didn't seem to be an issue and was given the impression that it wouldn't be. The longest this user's been blocked before switching IPs is a month. It's not enough that this user has been active and repeatedly blocked(at least 10 times) since early 2008? -- GD 6041 ( talk) 01:26, 15 March 2011 (UTC) |
