English architect and interior decorator
William Henry Romaine-Walker (1854–1940) was an English
architect and interior decorator.
Life
Romaine-Walker was born into a family of art dealers. He was educated at
Lancing College , and then articled to the architect
George Edmund Street .
[1] He was elected an Associate of the
Royal Institute of British Architects in 1881,
[1] and in the same year began working in a partnership with Augustus William Tanner, which lasted until 1896.
