Usha Bhandari (born 15 June 2004) is an volleyball player from Tanahun, Nepal. Bhandari finished second in the 2019 South Asian Games and won the Central Zone Volleyball Championship in both 2019 and 2021. She has also performed for international clubs such as Falcon Club and the Maldives National Defence Force. In 2021, Usha was nominated for the NSJF Pulsar Sports Award and named Best Player at the NVA National Championship. Bhandari made her national volleyball debut at age 14. [1]
Usha Bhandari must be one of the rare athletes in Nepali sports who does not require help from family. The Bhandari family wanted Usha to be an athlete. And she has the full support of her family in her ambition to become a successful volleyball player. Gajendra Bhandari, Usha's father, is her biggest supporter. Usha says, "My family is everything for me." Bhandari, 18, is a developing volleyball player with the potential to become successful. She is gorgeous and has a smile on her face, which is ideal for introducing glamour to Nepali women's volleyball. [2]
