I don't suppose you have any photos of Temple Square or the Salt Lake Temple you could contribute, particularly any with the Christmas lights? Actually, any photos of buildings from downtown SLC would be welcome. -- Lethargy 23:40, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Nice page you've got here. And the pictures in your gallery are excellent!

If you want to add suggest links without much trouble in the Random portal component string after the words Random portal component add the words; ( with nominate ) it will change the template to one that auto creates suggestion links, you'll just have to add it for each section you want to have suggestions.. - WilsBadKarma ( Talk/ Contribs) 06:09, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah you have to open and save the page it only creates the link to the page. Some people get elaborate when creating it but some just tell visitors to add there suggestions. -- WilsBadKarma ( Talk/ Contribs) 08:10, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I was originally taking a vacation for a few weeks, but after I returned I got a new job which has kept me busy (and tired). Hopefully I can start contributing more often, but it won't be in the large amounts I managed when I was unemployed. Thanks for the welcome BTW. -- Lethargy 00:41, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
No. That image is orphaned. It will be deleted on Feb 10 or later unless it is used. It would be a waste of my time to reduce the size. If the image is used, I'd be happy to reduce the image then. Thank you. -- MECU≈ talk 16:43, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your feedback. I didn't realize Miller also owned the arena, since I hadn't looked into whether it was built with public or private financing. I've now incorporated that tidbit into the story. -- Michael Snow 20:44, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Agree completely on alphabetizing famous Fort residents in the Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin article. Could easily develop into a shoving match trying to decide whose name belongs at the top of the list. I, too, am a former Fort resident (FAHS class of '58) living in suburban Denver. Have only been involved with Wikipedia for a few months but enjoy it very much. What is your opinion of Scott Catron's picture in the Fort article? Somehow, to me, it seems that the only picture in the article should be of something other than a flooded Main St. bridge. It is a well known fact that the optimum concentration for alcohol efficacy is 70 to 80 %. The higher the concentration of alcohol the greater the effectiveness (up to approximately 95%). The problem with higher concentrations of alcohol is the drying effect on skin. It is a delicate balance between higher alcohol concentrations and the drying effect on skin. Basic microbiology textbooks state the optimum concentration for alcohol efficacy is around 70%. You may have misunderstood the statement in the reference. Higher concentrations of alcohol above 95% are less potent because proteins are not denatured easily in the absence of water. The problem with using 62 % alcohol is dilution. If a 62% concentration of alcohol is used, any small dilution might result in a loss of effectiveness. There is very little margin for error. There are two references that deal with the effectiveness of alcohol gels. They were in my original article. They are:
5. Pietsch, H. Hand Antiseptics: Rubs Versus Scrubs, Alcoholic Solutions Versus Alcoholic Gels. J. Hospital Infection 2001, (200) 48: Suppl A, S33-S36.
6. Kramer, A., Rudolpf, P., Kamph, G., and Pittet, D, Limited Efficacy of Alcohol-based Hand Gels. The Lancet, 2002, 359: April 27 1489-1490.
If you want us to add these references to the article, we will be happy to do it. Thank you for your quick review. We appreciate your help in making alcohol rub an excellent article.JSHibbard (talk) 14:00, 28 April 2007

Thanks for your work on the Western United States. Your work has been very well done. I have posted and linked some other pics in the geography gallery. Some are my own and others are from other pages. I hope that it is a good balance and not overkill. Anyway, thanks for the comments and article additions- Staplegunther 19:30, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Staplegunther
I will get a better quality photo of the U to put up in place of the current one on the page. In the meantime I put it under the rest of the photos so it looks more orderly. -Staplegunther
