Thank you for taking the time to participate at the discussion in my Request for Adminship. Unfortunately the nomination did not succeed, but please rest assured that I am still in full support of the Wikipedia project. I listened carefully to all concerns, and will do my best to incorporate all of the constructive advice that I received, into my future actions on Wikipedia. If you can think of any other ways that I can further improve, please let me know. Best wishes, El on ka 04:08, 5 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Uhhh, I must be missing something...

Can you explain the move to Window of Opportunity? This is a well known term, and it seems extremely unlikely that people looking for the term, or linking to it, would be looking for an episode of a TV show. I read the notes you pointed to in the checkin notes, and the don't really seem to change my mind; this seems pedantic at best. I would like to move it back in order to keep the naming similar to other articles, as well as avoid missed hits on links and searches. Is there any good reason for this policy? Maury 03:09, 6 October 2007 (UTC) reply

Yaksha isn't that active these days, so maybe I can help. Article titles are case-sensitive, so the term you speak of exists at Window of opportunity. For more information on the guidelines behind article titles, see WP:NC. -- Ned Scott 07:17, 6 October 2007 (UTC) reply
Thanks for the reply. I should have been more specific, the articles were moved to names without "{Stargate SG-1)" in the title, which struck me as losing information. I'm going to do a move. Maury 13:04, 6 October 2007 (UTC) reply

Yeah, I'm really not around these days because of some real life commitments. Thanks for answering here Ned. -- `/aksha 11:59, 10 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Correct me if I'm wrong, but...

Weren't we supposed to go with the most popular spellings in terms of Hunter x Hunter characters? "Razor" has way more results in English than "Reiza" in both Google and Yahoo. -- Mr. Toto 03:32, 12 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Yes, but "razor" is the name of a knife. "Reiza" is an obscure name of a character in Hunter x Hunter. Of course "razor" would have more results than "Reiza". Even if you searched "razor hunter x hunter" in Google, after a good 50 pages, Google will return search results dealing with razor shavers rather than hxh. -- .::Arbitrary::. 11:29, 2 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Hatsu Types.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Hatsu Types.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot ( talk) 23:19, 13 February 2008 (UTC) reply

Digimon Wiki

I know the Digimon WikiProject has kind of died off on wikipedia after the transwiki, but we're still going strong at the [ Digimon Wiki]. I was wondering if you'd like to join over there, so that we can get the old team back together and really make the place something to be proud of. Cheers! Pointer to discussion about TV episode redirects

Hi, Yaksha. It's been a while since the dispute about TV episode article naming. I see you're not active on Wikipedia any more, but just in case you're interested I wanted to let you know that there's a new (much smaller, I hope!) discussion about whether to keep the redirects that have "unnecessary" disambiguation or not — one of the byproducts of an early compromise move in that debate. The new discussion is at Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (television)#Redirects, with related discussions at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2008 October 8. Hope to see you there. — Josiah Rowe ( talkcontribs) 18:33, 8 October 2008 (UTC) reply

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Sorting Out the Dirty Laundry (Desperate Housewives special), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Sorting Out the Dirty Laundry (Desperate Housewives special) is a redirect to a non-existent page ( CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Sorting Out the Dirty Laundry (Desperate Housewives special), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. AfD nomination of Nen (fiction)

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Nen (fiction). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and " What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nen (fiction). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. -- Erwin85Bot ( talk) 01:10, 26 March 2010 (UTC) reply
