Hi
I undid your change to Carl Stephenson (producer), since you removed all links and references from the article, as well as his most notable successes. In the future, please try to expand on an article, not replace it, and if you do please make sure to provide an edit summary so that other editors can understand your changes.

Hi
Thanks for getting in touch and explaining your changes.
The article was now significantly reduced in size, to only keep what seems to be well sourced. This in particular includes two pieces of information that were removed in your version of the biography, and that according to secondary sources seem to be highly notable aspects of your career: your co-authorship of "Loser" (Beck song), and your band Forest for the Trees.
I do not know the reasons why you chose to remove those, but best I can tell they are established facts and will remain in the article.
We aspire to write a neutral encyclopaedia here, so we cannot accept you writing your own "official" biography. However, you are of course very welcome to point out errors or suggest changes to the article, preferrably at the article's discussion page Talk:Carl Stephenson (producer).
I hope this is something we can agree upon. Cheers, Amalthea Talk 15:43, 8 October 2008 (UTC) reply

Hi, Wikipedia does not publish "authorised versions" but only articles that are collaborative works of our users. If you keep replacing this article with your own version, you'll keep being reverted and you will probably be blocked from editing.

However, Wikipedia does take the biographies of living people VERY seriously (see our policy here). If you have concerns that this biography is prejudicial or inaccurate, please give details on the talk page of the article, or post your concerns here. I, and others, will want to help you. If you are the subject of this article, you can also see the advice here. If I can help any further, please leave me a note on my talk page.-- Scott MacDonald ( talk) 10:40, 10 October 2008 (UTC) reply
