Please restore all the Wikia links you removed from Doctor Who pages. WP:EL#AVOID does not in any way prevent link to other wiki sites, in fact, WP:ELYES #3 encourages it. No consensus has been reached at WT:WHO, so your actions are quite premature. — Edokter • Talk • 16:32, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm. While I may have erred on the side of boldness, I'm not sure "premature" is the word I'd use here. Wikipedia is not a links directory. The onus is on the people who wish to link to that Wikia to establish consensus to include before adding the link. I cannot, in all conscience, revert my removals on that basis –

- I've restored them myself. We should not judge external wiki's on their 'fan-level' (some TARDIS Index File articles do have a lot more information that would not be allowed here); ohter wiki's are routinely linked to guide and steer the hardcore fans, where they can speculate and discuss all they want. — Edokter • Talk • 17:47, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
