Hello Tabercil! I noticed that you have uploaded a number of pictures from Luke Ford's website for fair use. How has he provided consent (on his website, through email, etc.)? Also, has he made all of the images on his site available, or have you only been requesting specific pictures? Olessi 02:18, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Yep, clear enough. I'll keep an eye on his site and see what other images would be acceptable for Wiki use. If I do upload any images, I'll use the attribution style that you have been using. Thanks for the information! Olessi 05:11, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
But before I do this, I want to propose to use another license tag. Luke asked for attribution to his website. That's not reflected in the tag you are using. But this one meets the requirement. Have a look at it and let me know what you think. Alternatively, one of the Creative Commons licenses could be used, namely cc-by-2.5 ( see here). Regards -- Rosenzweig 21:59, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi Tabercil. Note that Luke Ford did not say that the photos could be used for any purpose, including commercial uses, or that they could be modified. Hence, your use of {{ copyrighted free use}} is unjustified. Please ask him to license the photos according to the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 license. Otherwise, I suspect they will have to be deleted. dbenbenn | talk 00:32, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
Well, it may well be anal, but I've traded still more email with Luke:
And his reply, in its entirety:
And I even went one step beyond that. As you may or may not remember, Luke Ford had an earlier website, lukeford dot com. Well I wrote to him about the material that was on that site (accessible through the Wayback Machine), and his answer on that score:
So I guess it's now open season on Luke Ford's photos. All I need now is for someone to point out precisely how I should craft the license post (preferably by doing one over first) and I'll double back through all my earlier uploads to Wikipedia and change them. I'll leave the Wikipedia Commons material to Rosenzweig to update. Tabercil 03:11, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:MegaBoob Olympics 76460.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{ GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{ Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
It seems like the {{ Magazinecover}} tag, source information and a fair use rational on the image description page would be the most useful thing to do here. Regards, Dethomas 06:06, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
Just wanted to let you know that I've begun uploading the Luke Ford images I am using on the Wikimedia Commons. By uploading to the commons, the images can be used on the other projects as well. If you have any questions, drop me a line. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 05:17, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
The reason this is being IFDed is becasue the picture is actually of Jamie Lynn and not Crystal Klein. It was, apparently, misidentified somewhere along the way. Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 20:47, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for getting that, I was glad to be able to use it for Victoria Paris. AnonEMouse 21:07, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed that you were unsure of Image:Tera mod.jpg and Image:Tpg .jpg as well. However, if you consider them a possible unfree image, you should list them at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images to complete the process. There's plenty of people there who can help and otherwise, the images will never be removed. I've already taken care of things here. -- Ricky81682 ( talk) 01:49, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for adding the picture to the Uschi Diggard article, but I don't think that's her. Are you sure that isn't Shari Eubank? Ghosts&empties 00:47, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
What was your point in this revert? You deleted info on Alsace there. Be more careful. -- Matthead 12:08, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Jenteal thumbnailed.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
