Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, DemocracyNZ, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist ( talk) 02:20, 16 March 2023 (UTC) reply

Northland isn't included because there are no confirmed candidates yet. If you have further questions about articles, please use the talk pages. -- Pokelova ( talk) 13:27, 16 March 2023 (UTC) reply

If you want to have a good (and lasting) experience on Wikipedia, please allow me to make a few suggestions:
  • Never add any content without also having a reliable source. Your edits will otherwise likely be reverted.
  • Whenever you add or delete content (even just a single word), it's not a minor edit. TL:DR just leave the minor edit box unchecked. If you want to read up on what minor edits are, please do so at Help:Minor edit.
  • As a new user, you should not continually revert other (more established) users. Why? Not because established users are "always right", but because as a new user, you may not know what you are doing but instead not playing by the rule book. If you want to find out more, please read WP:EDITWAR. Spoiler alert: it's one of the easiest ways of getting a block on Wikipedia.
  • If you find that others disagree with you, head to the article's talk page and ask what's going on. Just as Pokelova has said above.
I hope this is helpful. Schwede 66 22:46, 16 March 2023 (UTC) reply
I've reverted your edit at Candidates in the 2023 New Zealand general election by electorate. You need to provide a source. A party website is somewhat dodgy; a media release would be better and a newspaper reporting (maybe based on the media release) is best. If it's mentioned on the website somewhere, it needs the direct URL. Without that, your edit will not be accepted. Schwede 66 03:55, 17 March 2023 (UTC) reply

Please read your talk page, if you continue editing in this manner you may find yourself banned. -- Pokelova ( talk) 06:11, 17 March 2023 (UTC) reply

Your recent editing history at Candidates in the 2023 New Zealand general election by electorate shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- Pokelova ( talk) 06:43, 17 March 2023 (UTC) reply

What you are adding is still unreferenced. You do not seem capable of contributing anything useful. This is your final warning; any more unreferenced additions and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your contributions are disruptive. Schwede 66 08:57, 17 March 2023 (UTC) reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   Schwede 66 21:59, 17 March 2023 (UTC) reply
