Prior Account

I have a Wikipedia account going back several years. I have attempted to get a new password for several days now, but have received no emails. I've checked my spam filter. Previous user = steveg99 SteveG700 ( talk) 02:13, 15 November 2014 (UTC) reply

Hi Steve, did you use a different e-mail address on the old account? - Rich T| C| E-Mail 02:23, 15 November 2014 (UTC) reply
I wasn't sure, but when I submitted the password reset request, it did ask me what email address went with the account, and I provided my current one, and it didn't throw an error. SteveG700 ( talk) 03:04, 15 November 2014 (UTC) reply
I have requested a password reset for your old account, if you don't receive an e-mail about it, then that account has a different e-mail address associated with it. - Rich T| C| E-Mail 03:34, 15 November 2014 (UTC) reply
Hope! you have provided valid E-mail account. Well, the vast majority of the time Wikipedia verification emails get delivered without a problem. If you haven't received it, something on your end may be preventing that from getting to you it can be some anti-virus/spam programs can catch those before they get to your inbox or it could be going to a folder you're not checking. Try searching something like wikipedia, password rest, verification. — CutestPenguin Hangout 05:48, 15 November 2014 (UTC) reply
