Hi Shambala2011,

Welcome to Wikipedia and all that.

The problem is that your edit to the DeSmogBlog page don't comply with the WP:NPOV policy, and aren't written in an encyclopedic way. I've outlined what I think is wrong on the article talk page, here. Why not review the policy on neutral writing (linked above) and have a go at changing your edit to be more compliant with it? Edit warring

Your recent editing history at DeSmogBlog shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Yunshui  12:58, 17 February 2012 (UTC) reply

I have closed your request for dispute resolution, as you haven't tried to solve it at the talk page or with the other editor yet. Please do as Yunshui suggests and discuss matters on the article's talk page.-- Atlan ( talk) 13:02, 17 February 2012 (UTC) reply

Many thanks for your advice, as a relative newbie I'm at the bottom of a long learning curve on wikipedia protocols... Shambala2011 ( talk) 15:48, 21 February 2012 (UTC) reply

Please don't use divisive, all-caps edit summaries such as this. You could have just as easily said "remove per WP:BLP". Also, avoid using terms such as libel altogether, per WP:NLT.-- Atlan ( talk) 15:10, 21 February 2012 (UTC) - OK sure, excellent advice and many thanks. Look fwd to learning more code and conventions Shambala2011 ( talk) 15:48, 21 February 2012 (UTC) reply
