Hello Seduisant, you removed at least 3 times a link added to the Bengal Cat page. I'm not sure you went to the site and read a little. It used to be a cattery but it is not anymore,so no cattery advertising there, just Bengal information: colors, patterns, genetics, etc (so instead of linking each section I just linked the home page where clearly says the cattery is not breeding anymore). It's not a vanity site, and definitely not advertising, so pls reconsider your deletion from Bengal cat page pls. Many thanks!

Thanks for uploading Image:OctavianCover.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Hi! I'm not actually an admin, but if you spot a user vandalising and you think they should be blocked, then you can follow the instructions at AIV. But because the user hasn't been active for a while, now wouldn't be a good time to report them, I'll try and keep an eye on them today and report them if they continue. I think when originally deleting Westwoodblog.org link it was more because it was added by the same person that edits the blog. This is a site that takes written contribution from anyone. There is much information on there and a very useful site for local Westwood resisdents. There's nothing wrong with having the site listed as link. No different than thousands of other links in Wikipedia. It made no sense to list the editor so I kept that off. I have reviewed a dozen other local communities around Westwood on Wikipedia and everyone had a local blog website listed (such as the Swellesley Report for Wellesley, MA)

Thank you for your feedback. I did "bother to read the edit history". How do you think I guessed what your original intentions were in deleting that link? I understand your comment about vanity press, but that is not what the website is. You are pointing to Wiki policy on Sources. The Westwood Blog is not being used as a source for the article. It is listed as an external link. Much like an entry on a band would point to a fan site. There is nothing wrong with this. I live in Westwood and I am not interested in other articles either. People find the site useful, it is a community resource, and should be listed there. Sorry if I don't have a Wikipedia user name or ever felt the need to do that. DaveAtkins ( talk) 02:28, 20 May 2009 (UTC) I registered with wikipedia so that you would know the westwoodblog.org link was valid and that I was being transparent about adding it. I understand the credibility problem wikipedia faces so I "get" that if you start linking to local websites...when will it end? But I thought the point of a wiki was to allow the community to vet the content. I listed myself as the editor so people would not mistake it for one of the many "hyperlocal" sites that have sprung up recently that have no connection to the community and are simply marketing vehicles for realtors, online coupon sellers, and newspapers. I don't need wikipedia to promote myself or add credibility to WestwoodBlog, I just think the site should be listed as it is helpful to residents who know about it.

Just add {{ Notability}} or {{ nn}}, no need for the {{{1}}} stuff. Rich Farmbrough, 10:27 21 May 2009 (UTC).

I'm new to this and my first attempt was editing the U-Roy article. I've noticed that you added an edit that includes the statement "this will never be a Wiki article". If you can explain why then maybe I can improve the standard of my edits.
