You deleted the article John Gore (theater producer) along with associated materials. Most of the material was provided by the original authors, including the photographs. You may be unfamiliar with the live theater, I would not be aurprised as there are few people who folow the business aspects of that industry. In acquiring Live Nation's legitimate theater assets and divisions, Gore has become the most important proucer on Broadway and the most important force in the creation and touring of first class Broadway musicals. His company, Key Brand, now controls touring rights to "Wicked," "The Producers," "The Lion King" and many others. Previous attempts to post an article on Gore, before the acquisition was announced, were similarly deleted, in my mind without rationale. It was unfortunate as the article was intended to serve as a background resource for journalists who would be reporting on the deal when it was announced a few weeks later. As it was, an invaluable source was innapropriately deleted. The photos and images contained in the article are all in the public domain, having been issued originally for public domain useage or having been uploaded by the creators, including in one case by Gore himself. While the live theater may be of little interest to you, and therefore you see its behind the scenes players as unimportant, I would suggest otherwise. Key Brand is now partners with performing arts institutions in some 42 cities whose boards and whose city managers have a keen interest in knowing more about the people with whom they are now partners. If you can give sources other than the main website of the company to show that the man is notable and that the photographs of the man are available under a free image copyright (that the photographer has given up all copyright), then the article and image can stay. The sources cited were the New York Times and Stage magazine (UK). I have visited Gore's website and ther is no overlap other than a mention of his early career which is appropriate in a biography. None of the images in the article come from Gore's website. The photo of Gore was posted to Wikipedia by Key Brand itself and released to the public domain as part of the announcement. This transaction by itself makes Gore the most powerful voice in Broadway Theater and merits this article just as the appointment of the CEO of GE would in another industry. No disrespect intended, but I don't get the impression you know much about the business of live theater. perhaps it would be prudent to defer to The New York Times and Variety on this topic. Once again, and with respect, the above comment is simply, empirically not true. The article you deleted was written and posted after the Live Nation announcement and consisted almost exclusvely of material related to that announcement drawn from published reports and using the pblicly available photo of Gore none of which was in his website when I reviewed it today. Other material, also not from Gore's site, was then added, related to his early producing career and drawn from other outside sources although historical information is historical information. I think you are confused about what it was you deleted and may be referring to some other, perhaps earlier version of the John Gore page. Are you using some kind of autobot to do this work? I deleted an article about a theater producer that I believed did not assert the notability of its subject and could be deleted. This article had also been deleted on prior occasions because it resembled his website. Thank you for your assistance. I fear the most recent remarks reflect a lack of knowlkedge of the idustry in discussion. To someone in the theater industry the role and importance are obvious. To someone with little knowledge or acquaitance the question would be, "Why do I care?" In the same way I could care little for, nor understand the importance to anyone of, the order of battle of the Asgard on Stargate SG-1 or which modern London street corner would be the location of the famous "pump handle" discovered by John Snow. I would like to add that Gore's predecessor as CEO of this company, David Ian, has a Wikipedia article at David Ian. Ian was an employee of the company until this takeover at which point he was terminated by Live Nation. His production credits are principally derivative of his role as the CEO. He was NOT a shareholder. Gore is the OWNER of the company as well as the CEO. I will refer this to a review, though I'm not certain I know how to correctly. I have serious concerns about the text left by Beta, commenting on the suicide note. The discussion seems both flip and unprofessional, especially as no professional would comment in the abstract about such a note, absent any knowledge about the person. The "throwaway line" about the use of contractions as evidence of lying is just nonsense which leads me to give very little credence to the "facts" that precede it. Personally, I think all this text should be deleted as being potentially dangerous, but, as a "closed" matter, I bow to your greater experience and ability. I have asked Beta for an explaination on his/her user page. The only issue I see with you is that you need to focus more on article contributions and less on the community. This doesnt hurt was using his userspace inappropriately, and that is why I deleted it, as well as his extreme contributions to just the userspaces. Optimus91 was found through a checkuser made by Thatcher on a range I have been seeing vandalism from for the past couple of weeks. That is why I had blocked him indefinitely, as all of the edits are similar and have been deleterious to the project. Hey, I notice you have changed the romanization back to "kafe". Although this is how the band or fans may read the kanji within th hyphens, it does transliterate to kisaten, and any special cases do not belong in the romanization field. Although it may have many readings, it is contextually kisaten. You will also notice that within the infobox, the alias "Antic Cafe" is already mentioned. It is helpful to keep the introductory sentence to a minimum when including trivial facts, rather than pertinent nomenclature information. I will change the text only once more, and if you still have concerns with this format, feel free to discuss it first on the article talk page, or my personal talk page. Well, considering you just interrupted my edits, attempting to synthesize our causes, I see this has become an impatient situation. I think it could be very possible to mention that the characters are traditionally "kisaten" (this is for informational purposes), but to note that it is read as "Kafe". That is not necessary because they are never read as "kisaten" when concerning the band. That is why the band is "Antic Cafe" and not "Antic Kisaten." There are various bands and other items that have readings that differ from the traditional Japanese ones, and those items are not mentioned in the article. This is why the Japanese Wikipedia utilizes a hiragana reading after the title of each page. The traditional readings are not necessary to mention.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:32, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, you will see in developed articles, there is mention of kanji that have single-instance altered readings for artistic purposes, (see Macabre (album)). If there are other instances, it may need to be addressed. I think it would be improper to mislead a novice to the topic that the kanji typically read as kisaten is actually read as kafe. It can become confusing to a learner. Furthermore, I appreciate the attempt to educate me, however, I am very familiar with the Japanese language, romanization of such, and the policies and formatting of both the English and Japanese Wikipedia. -- Jacob ^Talk 23:38, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, when this usually occurs with the articles I usually work on, I usually put the actual reading in parentheses. I assume we are active in different projects within Wikipedia, as I haven't run across you prior to this, but each project unfortunately has a very independent subtle style. I think adding a traditional reading wouldn't obfuscate the process, but make it more detailed. As I said, I'm sure the two of us would understand that the reading is "kisaten" in other contexts, but "kafe" is what is used in this circumstance, but I don't want to put people down the wrong path, using false romanizations in situations not pertaining to this particular band. Sorry to jump in. Hope you don't mind. Kissaten (not kisaten) writes as 喫茶店/きっさてん. It's a different word from 珈琲店/コーヒーてん. I guess they want people to read 珈琲店 as cafe/kafe and it is a possible reading when it comes to a band name. Oda Mari ( talk) 16:43, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello, I have recieved a phone call from a very close friend of mine and told me that a false Wikipedia user page was created under his name, and whoever made it had posted rude and racial remarks on other articles, including the DeKnikker User page itself with lude remarks and other vandalism. What is more interesting about the article edits posted in the Contributions is the fact that all the edits show suspicious remarks from other people at the high school that we go to. It is his request as is mine that we find the IP address of the computer that made the false account, added inappropriate remarks, and vandalized a number of pages. Then we can proceed to article deletion. But it is his request that we pinpoint the culprit first. I would like to thank those of whom support us on this problem. Your altered lead was not comprehensible to a reader of English. I'm not asking that these articles be deleted, just that they be wikified enough to stand on their own without a dictionary. This kind of "well, follow the links, baka!" attitude is one of the things that makes people rant and rave about "fancruft" and "fanboys" and WP:POKEMON. I'm a very low-grade otaku and father to a more hard-core one; and I still had to click two links just to find out WTF this series was.
