Dwelling on that 1 g thing...

... you know, I recently read somewhere that in order to use classic rocket fuel to travel to Alpha Centauri and back at 1 g, we'd need more than our entire Sun's supply of hydrogen, just to carry a few people— and all the fuel needed on the way.
