Naw, naw, naw. I mean, it's not like I expected to win. It's an entirely academic matter now anyhow (I wasn't going to charge up from behind at this point anyways). I felt a hanging judge was an option that should've been offered to the community, but I probably was the wrong person to offer that, and they don't seem interested anyways. Hello.
I'm trying to build List of Forgotten Realms characters as a proper character list. Could you please restore the edit history of Danilo Thann for me, so that we can merge the content in? Thanks! :) BOZ ( talk) 04:58, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Redvers. It looks as if you added {{ advert}} and {{ notability}} to the Vebnet Limited article I wrote. I don't agree with the advert criticism, however, I am aware that this is a subjective topic and would be grateful if you could indicate which words or phrases did not meet with your approval and I'll re-word accordingly. For the notability aspect, this article references sources from the Financial Times and the Scotsman both mass circulation broad sheet news papers and was written as an entry to the Companies Portal who's goal is to "seeks to analyse companies by country and industry".
I would be grateful for any feedback you may have on this matter. It looks as if I have to spend time constantly defending this article, is this normal for Wiki entries? Don't contributers get hacked off when their articles are constantly marked for deletion like this?
Anyway, all help and guidance greatly appreciated. BinoIchi ( talk) 00:33, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Whoops! Sorry about that Redvers, still pretty new to the wiki protocols and procedures, I would say that it was late when I removed your warnings but that is no excuse, please be aware that I am suitably chastised and it will not happen again. Thanks for taking the time to leave me some meaningful feedback, this type of detailed critique helps a lot when writing articles especially when you are new to this format. I will take on board what you have said and will try to re-word the article so it does not sound like an advertisement for the company (perhaps you can point me in the direction of a company based article which you deem suitable as unfortunately the template I chose initially for this article would probably not pass mustard today). I also take on board the notability tag and will endeavour to produce better examples which back up the article.
Once again thanks for taking the time to respond in a constructive manner, I will try to make the changes over the next few days and will update this entry when they are completed.

Hello Redvers. Sorry to bother you but I'm wondering if you could advise me re: Barry Foy. A notability tag was recently placed on the article, which was subsequently removed by User:82.42.54.71 citing it as 'vandalism' in the edit summary. This user has in the past edited in good faith.
I have re-added the tag, suspecting that this article might not satisfy the criteria for inclusion on Wikipedia ( WP:BIO & WP:NOTE). From what I have ascertained from the article and its edit history, it appears to be promoting an possible non notable person with historically unsourced/badly-sourced weblinks [13] [14]. It appears from the remaining legitimate IMDb references that the subject is a bit-part actor/extra. Previously, due to the amount of unverified garbage which had been added, I had (wrongly) suspected the article was a hoax. Having made this mistake in the past and with little experience in the best way for nominating an article for deletion, I would like a second opinion from an experienced admin as to whether this article warrants deletion. Thankyou for your time. Cheers Snowy 1973 ( talk) 01:02, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

You're mentioned in passing as an admin who might have some clue about this dispute [15] so could you perchance take a look at this swamp and help me figure out who's more in the right? I have a preliminary opinion, but I'd like to see if you agree with it before I go speaking about it.. Nice to see some admins have a sense of humour with your talk page warnings instead of the usual template messages. Does it seem to work? I guess with the block button you can teach them a lesson or two. By the way, i like the messages you have at the end of your sig. Very intriguing, i must say. You never seem to disappoint. I'm glad that you decided to participate in the debate. Despite your rather negative comments on occasions, I note from the constructive comments sense that you are on board, whilst reserving your rights. I know Admins have fears, and they need to be assuaged. There are still many details to be worked out, and I would prefer it if you would at least assume a bit more good faith and stop repeatedly calling it a kangaroo court before it has already taken shape. It is of course with your input that we can ensure that it is not. Cheers, Ohconfucius ( talk) 02:19, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
I was wondering if you could take a look at something for me, since you were the admin who originally deleted Laurie rozakis. A couple hours ago, the page Laurie Ellen Rozakis, Ph.D. was created. I tagged if for speedy deletion (A7), but the author removed the speedy tag while I was out. They also created the page Laurie Rozakis, so I just redirected Laurie Ellen Rozakis, Ph.D. to it. My question to you is what I should do, perhaps prod it? In my opinion, the article reads more like an advertisment then anything and the person doesn't seem all that notable besides a few books (which don't have great sales, since I have access to Neilsen BookScan).
