Thanks for uploading Image:Saxon.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. I would encourage you to use the source that you have and rewrite the history in your own words. It would be great to have the information in the article.

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Saxon.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case [1] [2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{ GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{ cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{ PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Papa November 22:45, 26 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:SCHSC.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:SCHSC.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot ( talk) 05:04, 18 August 2009 (UTC) reply

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Andrew Holness.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:25, 28 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat ( talk) 05:25, 28 August 2009 (UTC) reply

I APPRECIATE THE PRUNING DONE BUT AS THIS IS MY SCHOOL IN JAMAICA THE CURRENT INFORMATION IS IMPORTANT TO JAMAICANS. THANK YOU. One good test of what constitutes encyclopaedic information is "Will this be of interest/relevance in 10, 20, 50 years time?" Of-the-moment information such as the current head boy/girl clearly fails such a test. If this were not the case then you can be sure that Infobox school would have fields for that kind of information.

Much good work has been done on this article so do not be put off. But do try to discover established practice on Wikipedia and to fit in with it. You will find the time you spend here more productive and enjoyable that way. -Arb. ( talk) 14:00, 9 September 2009 (UTC) reply

A tag has been placed on Template:Infobox professor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay.
