  • We do not need a disambiguation page for a single topic, see {{ db-disambig}}. If you think there may be confusion between Hariakhan Baba and Haidakhan Babaji, you could place a {{ for}} template at the head of each to provide a link to the other, for instance at the head of Hariakhan Baba {{for|the teacher who taught near Haidakhan from 1970 to 1984|Haidakhan Babaji}} would give . Hariakhan Baba (disambiguation) page is needed for several reasons. There exists a need to sort out various name-references, like Hariakhan Baba, Haidakhan Babaji, and Mahavatar Babaji. Those pages refer to a historical person, a yogi by the name Hariakhan Baba, who appeared in Kumoan, lower Himalayas. Diverse claims were made as to traditions that sprang from his activities. Therefore, it seems appropriate to distinguish these differences. This subject is also difficult as several views exist that prefer to prove personal connection to that person with no, or with one-source references. (Pradeepwb 20:52, 15 September 2014 (UTC))

How many different people are there? Each person should have only one article, under the most common name, with redirects from other names. Two people should be possible to handle with hatnotes as I suggest above. We should only need a DAB page if the same name might refer to three or more people. Or is it maybe more complicated than that? JohnCD ( talk) 22:19, 15 September 2014 (UTC) reply

From my own and other available research it seems as follows; on Wikipedia there exists at least two articles for the same person ( Hariakhan Baba and Mahavatar Babaji). That situation can be explained by the fact that more than one source, or tradition exists that calls that person by different names. In other words, there's no universal agreement about naming. Also, to complicate this matter another article exists ( Haidakhan Babaji) that describes a different person who made the claim that he is that historical yogi (Hariakhan Baba who appeared between 1861 and 1924)). In other words, Haidhakan Babaji made a claim that he is Hariakhan Baba. Haidhakan Babaji "convinced the judge of the court in Haldwani that he was the 'Old Hairakhan Baba.'" In disambiguation page some of those issues can be pointed out; thanks; Pradeepwb (Pradeepwb 02:22, 16 September 2014 (UTC)) reply

I'm checking some of your edits; you appear to be prone to WP:OR. Not only your personal interpretation of the Purusha seal at Yoga, but also at Baba Hari Dass. And the WP:FRINGE dating of the Rig Veda at Atri is also nonsense. Please refrain from this kind of edits. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 07:24, 30 September 2014 (UTC) reply
