Drowssap SMM 20:35, 26 March 2024 (UTC)Thanks for your contributions to Adrien Nussenbaum. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoraVoro ( talk) 14:44, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
Hello, McSyl, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed your recently created the article Adrien Couret; thank you for your translation. Adding content to Wikipedia by copying or translating from articles on other language Wikipedias is permitted, but per the Terms of use of Wikipedia, such content must be attributed in the edit summary of the edit where you added copied/translated content. If you forgot (or didn't know), you can add in the attribution after the fact per the instructions at Repairing insufficient attribution. The template Attribution repair may help formulate the required wording for you; for example:
Adrien Couret
→ Note: The previous edit of 09:01, 21 April 2024 translated content from the Catalan Wikipedia page at :ca:Adrien Couret; see its history for attribution. Please add this attribution to the revision history of Adrien Couret by using a dummy edit as explained at WP:RIA and WP:DUMMY. Thanks, Mathglot ( talk) 01:37, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
I added retroactive translation attribution to Paul Delorme for you, in this edit.
Here is a model translation attribution that you can copy & paste directly into the edit summary of your next translation, changing the title as needed:
Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at :fr:Exact name of French article; see its history for attribution.
Please ensure going forward that all of your translations have a proper attribution in the edit summary of your first edit that adds translated content from another Wikipedia to the article. Thanks, Mathglot ( talk) 02:07, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
Hello. I assume you may be a French native speaker, so I just wanted to call your attention to this point about verb usage in English. Unlike in French, English does not use the historical present tense ( French: le Présent historique) to describe events in the past. Please use the past tense in English articles about events that took place in the past, even if the French sentence you are translating uses the historical present. For example:
(As a minor additional issue: you cannot use the adverbial phrase "In the meantime" in English following a sentence which describes a specific point in time (2008); if used, the phrase would have to follow an interval of time. For example: "Couret started his career at Macif, a French insurance company, in 2008 and remained for six years; in the meantime, he < did something...>".)
