- If you work for the organisation which holds the copyright then you can use it on Wikipedia if you supply proof of that. You will also need to make it available under the licence Wikipedia uses for its text, which will allow anybody to use it for any purpose. Instructions on how to do this are here. The mere fact the text is from your website isn't enough for it to be usable here because we insist that all text has to be available on terms compatible with the licence Wikipedia uses. Alternatively you could write the text in your own words without copying copyrighted material. There are various places you can ask if you need help with that (e.g. the help desk).
