I see Mathbot compiles the tables of article status at Wikipedia:WikiProject Physics.
Right now it links to articles according to either quality or importance. Could it be modified to link to a specific quality and importance? For example, if I'm interested in improved stubs of high importance, I can either click on High (35 of 366 are of stub-class) or on stubs (35 of 3787 are high importance). Or if I want to assess the quality of low-importance articles, I'd have to go through at best 488 low-importance article rather than 14.
I can explain more if that was not clear. Thank you. Headbomb ( ταλκ · κοντριβς) 07:05, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from
an automated bot. A tag has been placed on

At WP:OLD Mathbot keeps adding a discussion that has been relisted. J 947 23:15, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
We have two articles Philippe Michel and Philippe Michel (economist), on two different people both of whom have a plausible claim to be listed as mathematicians. MathBot seems to believe that there can be only one, and every day or two has been switching which one it includes in List of mathematicians (M) (see recent changes there). Can this be fixed, please? — David Eppstein ( talk) 03:21, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
At WP:OLD , the bot seems to be missing that this discussion has been closed. Landscape repton ( talk) 15:11, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
User:Mathbot/Recent changes recently had Categories:1978 Births added to it (except without the colon) Not sure what can be done to keep it from adding cats. Naraht ( talk) 19:53, 11 February 2018 (UTC)
See this edit. It caused Twinkle to fail on automatic posting of the next AfD nomination because it put the new item on the same line as <!-- Add new entries to the TOP of the following list -->. Solution: the Mathbot initialisation of a new AfD day should end with a newline code. (Also Twinkle could be changed to look for the "add new entries" without including the new line code.) — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 10:03, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

https://mathbot.toolforge.org/wp/rfa/edit_summary.html seems to be malfunctional; using it just downloads you a copy of the script's source code as a .cgi file instead of producing search results. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 23:15, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
