Have a beer on me.
Let the amber nectar flow all day and night. Let it run down the mountains and through the caverns and across the rich lawns to swamp the streets. Let it rain beer. Let the heavens open and shine forth beer. Let it all be beer. Wonderful beer. And let it be as deep as the heart of a lion.

I just wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" for taking the time and effort to participate in my recent RfA. As you may know, the discussion closed 66/0/1 and I'm now a holder of the mop. I will keep working to improve the encyclopedia and appreciate the trust which you have placed in me. - Dravecky ( talk) 23:04, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Could you take a look at my last few contributions to AfD, RfD and TfD please? In particular these: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7] and [8]?
It's Cyclonenim ( talk · contribs) by the way, I've just changed my signature to be a little more friendly. — Matt ( talk · contribs · email) 23:10, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
It's been a while since my admin coaching page was updated - have you given up on me?
If you want to end the coaching that's fine - if you want to carry on that's fine too - in fact, I don't mind if you keep me waiting for another month or 2, but I just want to know where we're at.

Thanks for your careful consideration at my successful RfA. Your "strong support" was generous and appreciated. Please let me know on my talk page if you have any suggestions for me. - Dan Dank55 ( send/receive) 21:25, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi. I like the way you think, my own approach would be to ask open-ended questions, get the user to think about what they're getting themselves into, and maybe get them to think about a few situations that they might not have given much thought to. The only thing that did concern me was that CSD comment, and as an admin who works a lot in this area, I planned to drill him fairly heavily on it (especially A7, which still seems to cause a lot of confusion). If you like, and if he is interested, I can concentrate on CSD and you can look at XFD, so that we're not duplicating our efforts?
This is my first admin coaching run, and I picked Cyclonenim because I figured he'd be a nice gentle start before I start helping candidates who have a lot further to come, so if you have any advice for me on the whole business of coaching, I'd be grateful to receive it! Hi,
Just to let you know that since the debate started someone moved the article to Pet Society, and that page has not been deleted yet. All you deleted was the redirect that resulted from the move. -- role player 01:50, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi, any chance you could have another look at this close, because I think it's going to cause us problems in the future (plus I really don't like DRV because most people believe it to be AFD2). The bright line of notability for footballers per WP:ATHLETE is having played in a professional competitive game (da Silva hasn't - yet) or passing WP:BIO per substantive coverage (practically all his press is related to his twin brother, and notability isn't inherited). Due to the obsessive coverage of football in the UK, coverage of even reserve side players is quite easy to find, so this could set a precedent. Of course, he's almost certain to play professionally at some point, so this will end up being irrelevant, but at the moment he doesn't pass the notability guidelines. See also this. Thanks, Black Kite 10:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Regarding "I can see unstoppable edit wars and system message change abuse", I believe the proposal is to lean on the devs to allow the community to decide which protected pages can and can't be edited by these people ... system messages would be off-limits. Regarding "unstoppable", my thinking is to handle that by taking the privilege away. I think we really want to ride the admin who hands out this tool to keep an eye on the people they're handing the tool out to, and get medieval on them if they have a habit of poor oversight or poor judgment. (I'm watchlisting for a few days.) - Dan Dank55 ( send/receive) 03:16, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
I noticed you added "simple checkmate" to checkmate. What does that do, I haven't seen it before. Bubba73 (talk), 01:44, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
