Hello Maligne,
First of all, I hope I use the right feature to get in touch with you. I am not familiar with how this system works. :-)
I noticed that you are the last editor of the article on bike trainers. I noticed it doesn't include important information. Smart trainers are further divided into interactive and non-interactive.
The interactive ones can change the resistance depending on the indoor cycling app. Non-interactive ones can't do this and can only transmit riding data such as power or cadence. These are usually smart fluid trainers (see https://www.cyclistshub.com/how-to-choose-a-bike-trainer/#App-&-Device-Compatibility ).
It would be great if you could update this info because newbies often don't know about this and then are disappointed that their "smart trainer" doesn't adjust resistance.
