PlaneShift deletion

Thanks for your help in keeping the PlaneShift article alive, even if it didn't succeed. The deletion is just a shame, for a game which had 500.000 registered accounts, has made history of free videogame, and it's rated today at hype 8.2 on mmorpg.com , plus named as the #1 free macosx game just few days ago by independent sources. I don't know how to post a barnstar, but anyway I appreciate your help. -- 79.30.201.16 ( talk) 23:35, 8 April 2010 (UTC) reply

I believe that PlaneShift deletion was unjustified, but even more so I believe editors should spend their effort improving articles, not arguing about merits of their existence. So yeah, while I accept your gratitude, I feel this kind of situation should not have happened in the first place, and it's me who should be thanking you on the behalf of Wikipedia for your contribution to that article. By the way I added 3 additional notable sources today in the deletion page. -- 79.40.27.216 ( talk) 14:48, 9 April 2010 (UTC) reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse ( consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot ( talk) 17:20, 15 March 2011 (UTC) reply
