Stade de Luxembourg

hello,

may i please know why you keep deleting the "controversy concerning the name" section in the article "stade de luxembourg" ?

Letzebuergerr

As per Wikipedia:Criticism, there is no need for a controversy section, and it seems that by repeatedly trying to include one you are pushing an agenda, which is contrary to NPOV. That there was any criticism of the name is made abundantly clear in the sentence: "In September 2020, the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies rejected a petition to amend the name using the Luxembourgish language." Even that is probably overstating it, because as I gather the petition failed to get enough signatures. Luxofluxo ( talk) 17:57, 13 August 2021 (UTC) reply
I see. You are probably right. My excuses.
However, having nearly every newspaper in Luxembourg writing about this can hardly be seen as "overstating".
Letzebuergerr
Luxembourg media can be deceiving. Just to give you an idea of how small a "controversy" it was, the official petition to change the name only gathered a total of 1,081 signatures out of the necessary 4,500 signatures required for a proper parliamentary debate. From that fact alone, I would consider removing the mentioning of the criticism of the name as just useless trivia, but I did not want to totally remove your contributions to the article. Got it. you are right of course. Sorry for the inconvenience.

ARBPIA warning

If I see further commentary like this or this you will be topic banned. Implying that other editors are antisemites or there is a group of editors on a mission to subvert NPOV is unacceptable. If you have evidence of disruptive editing take it to WP:AE or WP:ANI. Again, just so I'm perfectly clear, if this behavior recurs you will be topic banned.
