I've started a talk page discussion on Talk:Association football regarding the paragraph you added about the Royal Engineers. While it is valid material, it might perhaps be a bit too specific for the article about the game as a whole. Oldelpaso ( talk) 20:33, 8 February 2009 (UTC) reply

Scotch professors

I'm not a fan of Queens park nor am i particularly a fan of Scottish football. However given the choice of modern expert opinion referring explicitly to the subject matter (such as that given in support of Queens Park) and contemporary sources well over a century old which require quite deliberate personal interpretation (i.e. your own Original Research) to reach a conclusion i will most certainly go for the former. siarach ( talk) 16:17, 9 February 2009 (UTC) reply

Also, if your sources are genuinely available online you might want to provide a link to them so that they others can actually have a look at them. siarach ( talk) 16:20, 9 February 2009 (UTC) reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
