Hello, Kaleb, and welcome to Wikipedia. Recently I noticed a hurricane season article that you created in your userspace. Though Wikipedia does make leeway in regards to things you can put in your userspace like sandboxes and the like, articles on real things (in this case, the up and coming 2014 Atlantic hurricane season) but have completely arbitrary details (in your case, the storms themselves, impacts, synopsis, etc.) are generally discouraged. Since the actual season has not begun yet, people searching for the upcoming season may run into yours by accident. I'd recommend reading WP:WEBHOST for things such as these. In accordance with policy, I've recently nominated the page for deletion, but feel free to discuss your concerns there or on my talk page. If you'd still like to create pages like these, I'd recommend placing them on the unaffiliated Hypothetical Hurricanes Wiki, where they would be more than happy to accept your hurricane season submission.

That being said, I appreciate your interest into tropical cyclones, and as a member of WikiProject Tropical cyclones, a collaborative effort to improve the coverage of such weather phenomena, I'll cap off this notification with an invitation to the project. Good luck and good wishes to your Wikipedia tenure! TheAustinMan( Talk· Works) 18:03, 14 December 2013 (UTC) reply
