Welcome

I reverted one of your edits and wanted to reach out to you. I understand why you made it and it wasn't bad; it's just not in line with how wikipedia articles are written. The language you used was elegant and beautiful, just not encyclopedic. The other catch is everything has to have a source, and we have to maintain a Neutral Point of view. I wanted to share a pointer that might help you: Try to avoid updating the lead on articles, and expand the bodies of articles instead. A lot of people argue what should go in the lead vs the body of the article, but the reality is the lead of the article should be a summary, no more than 4 paragraphs or so, of the rest of the article. So, start with expanding the bodies of articles - you can add in whole paragraphs - then, adding something to the lead becomes more justified. Also feel free to check my user page, as I link to a bunch of the guidelines. On each of those pages, there are links to more guidelines. It helps to skim through them, though I'm constantly finding new guidelines and learning more that way. WP:NPOV, WP:RS, and WP:LEAD are the ones I mentioned in this comment, as something to get you started. Denaar ( talk) 05:25, 22 September 2023 (UTC) reply
