Mediation Cabal: Request for participation

Dear Jayen466: Hello. This is just to let you know that you've been mentioned in the following request at the Mediation Cabal, which is a Wikipedia dispute resolution initiative that resolves disputes by informal mediation.

The request can be found at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/27 February 2012/Wikipedia:Verifiability.

Just so you know, it is entirely your choice whether or not you participate. If you wish to do so, and we'll see what we can do about getting this sorted out. At MedCab we aim to help all involved parties reach a solution and hope you will join in this effort.

If you have any questions relating to this or any other issue needing mediation, you can ask on the case talk page, the MedCab talk page, or you can ask the mediator, Mr. Stradivarius, at their talk page. MedcabBot ( talk) 14:09, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Template talk:New Religious Movements, Cults, and Sects

Hi, I noticed that you were involved in the October 2011 discussion for moving Template:Cult to Template:New Religious Movements, Cults, and Sects. The move, I believe, was well-intentioned, but has had the side effect of editors adding groups that are New Religious Movements, but not cults or sects, to a template that is used primarily in cult-related articles. I have started a discussion on the talk page, where I feel your input would be valued. Thank you, ~ Adjwilley ( talk) 21:20, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Seeking feedback on a software solution to Muhammad

So, as you no doubt are aware, there an upcoming RFC on Muhammad. I have no idea how it will turn out. I come here with a much humbler mission. Most users don't know how to turn off images in their browser. I have added a proposal that would just give to 'regular' non-techy users the exact same control tech-saavy users already have-- the ability to easily turn images on and off, at will.

Whether we have zero images or 100, I'm hoping that this humble little hatnote can be a "Switzerland of neutrality" in this tumultuous dispute-- something everyone can agree isn't worth arguing about. Any feedback you have that would help me would be most welcome. -- HectorMoffet ( talk) 09:00, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

William S. Sadler

Hi Jayen, have you ever heard of William S. Sadler? He more or less founded a new religious movement (it bears some similarities to Scientology, actually). I'm trying to get his article up to featured status, and was wondering if you could look it over--particularly with a eye for NPOV. There aren't too many neutral sources out there, but I think I have assembled what I could. Of course, any feedback would be welcome if you have time/are interested. Thanks, Mark Arsten ( talk) 02:44, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

I think the Rfc is nearly finalized, but only a few editors have commented recently, not including you. Could you take a look & let us know what you think at Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Cases/11_February_2012/Muhammad-images#Finalizing_Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment.2FMuhammad_images. Thanks. Nuking NRMs

Hi Jayen, just noticed that Idries Shah talk has had it's NRM removed. If you follow the contribution record, this user has nuked a great many NRMs recently. Regards, Esowteric+ Talk 12:58, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

Help us develop better software!

Thanks to all of you for commenting on the NOINDEX RfC :). It's always great to be able to field questions like these to the community; it's genuinely the highlight of my work! The NOINDEX idea sprung from our New Page Triage discussion; we're developing a new patrolling interface for new articles, and we want your input like never before :). So if you haven't already seen it, please go there, take a look at the screenshots and mockups and ideas, and add any comments or suggestions you might have to the talkpage. Thanks!
