Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.
We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.
The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.

Hi there. I noticed that you've removed all the links to Stagelink after an IP user updated them the other day. I'm not going to re-instate them as I know the person who runs the site, but it is a bona-fide stagecraft links site, and pretty useful. News The Grand Forks article is a great example to follow when working on other city articles, particularly those about North Dakota cities. We would be very well off if our other major city articles were similar to the Grand Forks article. Keep the Grand Forks article bookmarked and refer to its structure and style when you work on similar articles. ---New assessment parameter--- The importance of each article is gauged as either Top, High, Mid, or Low. Since "importance" is a rather subjective term, some WPND members are trying to come up with a general set of guidelines. Check out this thread on the WPND talk page to see proposals and to share your own opinions of what is and isn't "important" in the state.

Hi, I'm wondering if you would demonstrate the basis in Wikipedia policy for your request on the will o' the wisp / ghost light merger talk page. Thanks, Ante lan talk 01:00, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
A comment by an anonymous IP who clearly knows Perfectblue apparently triggered Perfectblue to oppose the merger with a rather specious argument. I can produce the diff if you're interested, but it's not a particularly big deal. However, it left me in a suspicious state of mind. Questioning you on why you showed up to comment on the talk page was hasty of me. Please accept my apologies. Ante lan talk 21:00, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
You may not be aware of this, but there is quite a long history regarding myself, Perfectblue, and Martinphi. Consensus can be abused, and these two are notorious for doing so. I appreciate your gesture of good faith, but you might want to be careful about how you characterize the actions of others with regards to this sticky thing called "consensus". ScienceApologist ( talk) 18:17, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Ghostlight is merged with the former. The intro of the former will cause readers to assume that a ghostlight is seen in swampy areas, when in fact some are seen in the driest of places, such as Marfa, Texas and Iran. This merge will further damage Wikipedia's reputation, since it implies that Wikipedia cannot tell a swampy area from a desert area. I am close to the locations of at least four of these, and NOT ONE is in a SWAMPY area at all. 65.163.115.114 ( talk) 17:37, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

I challenged a part of your recent edit to the Concordia College article. See this entry. I'm not sure it's the fourth oldest building - it very well could be, but I have enough doubts that I've placed a citation needed tag. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current

Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia

arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to

I agree with you. The Blue Moose should be in the picture and there are rails on the bridge. Like you said, I'm sure there are other things, but I'm not familiar enough with downtown of the 1970s and 1980s to be able to pick them out. It must be from '79. I removed it from the 1997 flood article. You have a good eye! -- MatthewUND( talk) 04:32, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

News WPND member NDCompuGeek has constructed the initial framework for the portal and it should now be easy to update the portal on a month-by-month basis. The portal will serve as a kind of "front door" for people using Wikipedia to learn more about North Dakota. It is a great starting point for branching out into the many aspects of the state. Each month a different article, picture, city, and biography will be showcased along with current news and happenings from around the state. The July version of the portal showcases the Mandan tribe, Governor John Hoeven, and the capital city of Bismarck. Visit the portal's talk page to share your opinions and ideas regarding the portal.

Please help to improve and expand these articles which were recently added to the WPND project:

Hello, I'd like to introduce myself to you. My name is Hyo-Jeong Kim and I live in Seoul, Korea. I work for a English Education Company and now working on a English - Korean dictionary.
The reason for contacting you is that I would like to talk to you about using an image uploaded by you on Wikipedia. I believe the image would be helpful for the learners to understand what the work means.
I would like to talk more in detail through email, if you don't mind. If interested, please contact me to the following address

File:Etcdimer.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Etcdimmer.JPG. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Etcdimmer.JPG]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. -- Erwin85Bot ( talk) 18:21, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

I challenged a part of your recent edit to the Concordia College article. See this entry. I'm not sure it's the fourth oldest building - it very well could be, but I have enough doubts that I've placed a citation needed tag. The burden now is on you to support that with a source, otherwise I'll probably remove it in a few days. Best. NTox · talk 01:16, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,

Thanks for uploading File:BeamProjector.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{ non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. matt br 11:02, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
