Rollback granted

Hi Mstrojny. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~Swarm~ {talk} 23:50, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

@ Operator873: I plan on being away from Wikipedia for a little bit. This week, I will be editing only a little bit. Next week, I will not be editing at all. I am not sure whether I will be coming back. If I do come back, we can continue on with the course. If not, I want to wish Wikipedia the best. Mstrojny ( talk) 10:57, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

My apologies

I would like to apologise if you believe I was vandalising on the history of field hockey Wikipedia page but I was actually just adding a story my gym teacher had told the class that I thought would be a good contribution. Howwee ( talk) 23:20, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

@ Howwee: Content in Wikipedia must be verifiable to a published reliable source. If you are unsure whether or not a source is a reliable source, please read WP:RS. If you have any questions about editing or using Wikipedia, ask at the Teahouse. Mstrojny ( talk) 00:31, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

Courtesy vanishing

I have an alternative account named Mstrojny1234 that has no edits. However, I do not need it for any reason. I know it's not possible to delete accounts on Wikipedia, so I would like to request courtesy vanishing for that account. Can you rename the account for me please? Mstrojny ( talk) 19:49, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

See WP:RTV Ronhjones   (Talk) 21:14, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
You can request the account to be renamed by logging into it and then making use of Special:GlobalRenameRequest. Courtesy vanishing, however, is only meant for people who want to leave Wikipedia entirely; it isn't meant for retiring one of multiple accounts. My advice would be to add a note to this account's user page that the other account is you, and to continue to not use the other account. Huon ( talk) 23:12, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

Untitled section

Hi! I'm totally new here, and don't plan on becoming an editor or writer; however, with that being said, I'm not exactly sure about the process of approaching someone to offer help to fix a page? Specifically, the one on Assassins (which, according to wiki rules should actually be titled the original Hashashin...?) Anyway, as i mentioned, i'd like to collaborate and see if we can't fix this up? I'm sending this to you because you're the last editor shown. Or you can tell me to eff off. Hope your day is well. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by MsFredd ( talkcontribs) 02:01, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

@ MsFredd: I am more than happy to work on an article with you. Can you tell me which article you want me to work on with you? Also, if you ever need help editing Wikipedia, you can go to the page Help:Contents to see your options on getting help on Wikipedia. Mstrojny ( talk) 23:50, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

Fixing pings

Hi there. Thanks for helping out at the Teahouse. Just to let you know that when fixing a ping, like you did here, you need to update the timestamp in your signature as well - otherwise, a notification won't be triggered. See Wikipedia:Notifications#Mentions for an explanation. Cordless Larry ( talk) 19:14, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

@ Cordless Larry: Sorry about that, I will do that next time. Mstrojny ( talk) 19:15, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
No worries. I made the same mistake once and someone pointed out to me, so I like to pass the message on when I see others do the same. Cordless Larry ( talk) 19:17, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
Yeah, that happened to me to. Valuable lesson to have pointed out. Nick Moyes ( talk) 00:23, 26 February 2019 (UTC) (passing talk page stalker}
