Thanks for taking the time to improve the route map for the Sanyo Shinkansen. If I could make one request... could you please use hyphens in the station names as they are written in the Wikipedia article (e.g. "Higashi-Hiroshima" instead of "Higashi Hiroshima")? Also, I think it is best not to include the train types ("100, 300, 500..." etc) on the route map, as this means that the map will need to be updated each time new rolling stock is introduced or old rolling stock is withdrawn (e.g. the 100 series in 2012). Hi. I'm afraid your shinkansen route map at File:Shinkansen map 20110312 en.png is not an accurate portrayal of English usage. None of the JR operating companies (including JR Kyushu and JR Hokkaido) use macrons in their official names, and the use of diacritics in the line names too is frankly distracting for regular English readers. If you want to improve it and remove the macrons, then that is of course fine, but please don't assume that English usage has to copy Japanese textbook style.
