Wrong edit on Moon

It seems you didn't check source and made this edit. Anon IP pointed out and after checking source I have reverted your edit. Pls make sure before making such edits. Thanks. neo ( talk) 21:23, 2 June 2013 (UTC) reply

Hmmm, you're right. I mistook axial tilt (1.54 degrees) for inclination (5.14 degrees), combined with thinking that in the figure "Schematic of the Earth-Moon system" the dotted red line was the moon axis of rotation and perpendicular to the moon-orbit line. (Hence inclination = axial tilt). That's a wrong interpretation of course. The figure is correct, but part of what led me astray is that the color scheme doesn't consistently tie the axes, orbits and orbit-perpendiculars. Not fatal, but confusing:

Body Axis Orbit Orbit perpendicular
Earth Blue Blue Red
Moon Blue Red Red

Anyhow, thanks for reparing. Gwideman ( talk) 04:08, 7 June 2013 (UTC) reply
