Hi Gregg I am getting the impresion that you are taking this AfD as a personal attack against yourself, it is far from it have a read of world wont end it's a light hearted essay and will give you a perspective on this process. BigDunc ( talk) 12:37, 26 February 2008 (UTC) reply
  • response -Hi "BigDunc". Thanks for the link. But please understand I really don't feel this as a personal attack on me at all. A personal attack is one that involves me personally, and considering this is about an article than that puts me in the clear ;) I am just defending an article regarding a composer whom, according to wiki's rules, is notable and should not be deleted. I have not read any any evidence that has swayed my opinion yet, and until that happens then I will continue to point-out how this article is notable and should stay. All told, I am confident the process will run its course, and it help us all decide wether should be deleted or not. Either way, I am confident the matter will be settled ;) Gregg Potts ( talk) 19:44, 26 February 2008 (UTC) reply
That is a good article Greg that is why I brought this AfD so as other editors and yourself could decide if this article should be deleted. Im glad you dont feel that it was personal against your edits and sincerely hope you continue to edit wikipedia. BigDunc ( talk) 12:40, 29 February 2008 (UTC) reply

Sandbox

Hi, It looks like the Michael L. Vincent article will probably get deleted. Since you put a lot of work into it (and you may eventually find more sources to establish his notability), you might want to consider saving it to your sandbox to preserve it for eventual re-publication once the notability guidelines can be adequately met and referenced. If you don't have a personal sandbox click here: User:Gregg Potts/Sandbox, add this template at the top: {{ userpage}} and save. Then you can edit it to paste in the MLV article. Many Thanks- I will do just that ;) Gregg Potts ( talk) 15:47, 2 March 2008 (UTC) reply

Ooops. I forgot to say that when you paste an article into a sandbox, you need to disable the categories. Otherwise your sandbox will show up on the mainspace category pages. Here's a copy of an existing article I'm working on: [1]. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the disabled categories. This shows the markup to use to disable the categories. You basically add <nowiki> before the first category and </nowiki> after the last one. And if you want to add the extra bit about the page being a sandbox that I have on my draft page, here's the template to use: {{ User Sandbox}}.
