Your recent article submission to
Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by GraziePrego was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject
qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published,
reliable,
secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the
guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see
technical help and learn about
mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Also take out the peacock language. Quoting from her poems is not necessary either.

Hacohen published three books (two poetry in nationally accredited presses and one translation in Israel's most prestigious poetry press), including publishing individual poems in almost every major poetry literary journal. Hacohen is the winner of the Barbara Mandigo Kelly Peace Poetry Award.
Additionally, the sources are major university and literary publications (not primary).

Publishing books does not make an author inherently notable, but the winner of the award might do. I would strip back the references to just the key ones that prove notability. I will go through the references and explain why most are not appropriate:
Does not mention Hacohen.
Does not mention Hacohen.
Does not mention Hacohen.
Does not mention Hacohen.
A student bio, does not prove notability.
A staff bio, does not prove notability.
Is the poem, a primary source, so cannot be used to prove notability.
Written by Hacohen, so cannot be used to prove notability.
Is the poem, a primary source, so cannot be used to prove notability.
404 error.

Award, may go some way to showing notability.

So we have three good sources that show the award, four sources that do not mention Hacohen at all, a few bios, and a few primary sources. Unfortunately this isn't yet there. Let me know if you have any questions. Qcne(talk) 12:04, 19 February 2024 (UTC)reply
