Hej G®iffen.

Hello! If you are receiving this message, that means that your user page is in a specific year category. Per a recent user-category per deletion, all specific year categories are to be deleted. If you wish to continue using year categories, you have two options:

G®iffen, I was looking at your edit summary for this edit, and I just wanted to drop a friendly reminder to assume good faith and not bite the newcomers.. Cheers! —Cliffb 19:54, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi! You need a citation in the article Road traffic in Denmark. Unfortunately I cannot find it written anywhere (as if I was looking) but it was and still is what I see every day working as a truck driver in Copenhagen. G®iffen 19:18, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi Grif
Remember we talked about a spelling checker? If you use Firefox as your browser, it can automatically underline all words it considers oddly spelled if you download the Danish and British dictionaries. It doesn't suggest alternative spellings, but it has reduced my number of spelling mistakes quite a bit. Just a thought. Happy editing. Valentinian T / C 22:28, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
You deleted an "irrelevant" trivia section in the article about danish pastry. I don't see that this was more irrelevant than references to The Simpsons episodes in the dumpster article or other similar cases. Is it possible that you could explain "irrelevancy" to this stupid dane? :-) Thanks -- G®iffen 17:26, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for improving an article I recently started in the English Wikipedia called Cabin (truck) by inserting three pictures of trucks. In the article Semi-trailer truck which you have also edited in the past, the first picture in the article called Image:P2080.JPG, a rather nice image showing a semi-trailer truck, is slated for deletion. Please see comments on its Talk page: Image talk:P2080.JPG and see if you can find a nice-looking replacement for this introductory picture. H Padleckas 23:25, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is however another Wikimedia foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please consider creating an account and uploading media there instead. That way, all the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons. Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!

What I put in the article is "usually with a large diesel engine and two or three axles." Note the word usually. Compare this diff of what I previously put in the article and what it was changed to by someone else.
"Most have 2 or more axles" is completely and utterly wrong. It's not possible for a truck to have only one axle. All trucks have 2 or more axles.
I've seen trucks with up to 5 axles. They do exist. They are rarely used as prime movers (tractor units) and are instead mostly used for heavy rigid trucks.
The vast majority of prime movers in Australia are 3-axle, even for road trains in excess of 100 tonnes. Allowing for the fact that some smaller prime movers here and in a lot of other countries are 2-axle, I believe that the statement as I put it is technically correct. Most have 2 or 3 axles. A very small number have more.
The question of bogie drive versus single drive and lazy axle is also fairly clear cut in Australia. A lot of rigid trucks run lazy axles but, having seen literally thousands of trucks over the years, I haven't seen one prime mover with a lazy axle since I started in this line of work in 1994. They may exist but they are extremely rare. It may be different elsewhere in the world, but the trucks that I've seen are from North America, Japan and Europe and are the same types as used in those markets. -- Athol Mullen 11:59, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called G®iffen. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name G®iffen~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
