Replying to and 'referring to' other users

Hi, when replying to other users in a message, use Template:Reply to. For instance when replying to me somewhere other than my own talk page (a user gets a notification whenever someones edits their talk page), you can use {{ping|JackintheBox}} to notify me of your message. That template does not need to be followed by four tildes (~~~~), as that would just add your signature and a timestamp (that should go at the end of your whole message). When 'referring to' other users, use the template {{u|JackintheBox}} – that would produce JackintheBox without the @ sign and colon. Regards JACKINTHEBOX TALK 13:21, 19 April 2019 (UTC) reply

Welcome!

Hello, Freewheel56, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome!
