Although I don't disagree with your reverting the recent edits by 24.13.224.153, I don't think the evidence points to vandalism. Refering to them as such does a disservice to our WP:AGF guideline. Additionally, one never knows when a new, clueless editor such as 24.13.224.153 will become a productive contributor if they just had a little welcoming advice and mentoring. As such it would have been appropriate for you to engage 24.13.224.153 on the talk page in a positive, welcoming way. If 24.13.224.153 is a vandal, then 24.13.224.153 is a vandal and can be dealt with in time. However, if 24.13.224.153 is just a newbie, finding his way, treating him like a vandal upfront is just poor collaboration and does nothing to support the Wikimedia Foundation Strategic Plan regarding participation. -- Mike Cline ( talk) 19:33, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Looking back I should have have Assumed Good Faith. However, he Persisted to add the same Sentence to a number of Articles. At the time these edits didn't seem like Good Faith Edits which I classified as Vandalism. Floul1 Talk To me 09:11, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Looking forward I would hope you would assume good faith unless there is overwhelming evidence of vandalism. Clueless edits by newcomers need to be seen as such and the newcomer mentored and coddled as much as practical. We will always have vandalism in WP, but newcomers are our lifeblood. Keep up your good work. Sincerely --12:34, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
