Contrary to what you have been told by GilliamJF, it is Wikipedia policy to welcome new contributors and not bite them. We are told to assume good faith. Even if the contributions are obvious vandalism, what is wrong with stating that the user is welcome to contribute positively. Immediately reacting in a hostile manner is acting contrary to Wikipedia policy.
If you look closely at the message I left on 147.226.218.32's talk page, you will see that it combines a welcome message with a level 1 page blanking warning. I was fully aware that the first attempt from the user was undesirable, but I followed policy and assumed good faith.

I tried to find a way to send a message to you, but no luck. So I am doing this.

I recently got a message when I got into wiki that I had made a vandalistic edit using the above IP Address to Manifest Destiny.

I have not made any edits to Manifest Destiny at all, vandalistic or otherwise.

Since a lot of ISP's cycle IP Addresses, I will bet I got randomly assigned that one which was used previously by a vandal.

Which brings to mind the futility of assigning messages to IP addresses, but I bet better people than me have considered that.

Vandalistic Edits

I too have tried to contact you but also to no avail. See previous entry by 'Jokem' two posts above. Please do not make wild accusations that I have vandalised any Wikipedia pages. I make very few edits, and then only if I am 100% sure that they are a) corect and b) verifiable. I recently received this message from you:

"Thank you for experimenting with the page Index Fossil on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.--Farquaadhnchmn"

On your user page you state: "I'm a relatively new user, and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about how to make Wikipedia the best it can be." May I suggest that one thing you should try to learn, is how to idenify The Real Vandals, instead of making wild accusations at random.

Here's one for your "Favourite (NB correct spelling!) Quotes":-

There are 10 types of people in the world - those that understand binary, and those who don't.

A tag has been placed on Halloween Horror Nights (Orlando), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{ hangon}} on the top of Halloween Horror Nights (Orlando) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Snowman Guy ( talk) 03:16, 30 October 2008 (UTC) reply

WP:CVU status

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{ inactive}} and/or {{ historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you!

MfD nomination of User:Farquaadhnchmn/HHNF

User:Farquaadhnchmn/HHNF, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Farquaadhnchmn/HHNF and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Farquaadhnchmn/HHNF during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. — Bkell ( talk) 16:13, 21 September 2011 (UTC) reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
