It's been five days since our newly registered friend has made any edits to martial arts-related pages or posted comments on the lengthy Bodhidharma discussion. This doesn't necessarily mean they won't come back eventually, but I think I am starting to whittle them down. Once I put them on the spot about providing a source for their claim about "ancient" Shaolin stone engravings showing Bodhidharma teaching martial arts, they stopped mentioning it altogether. I was surprised to see that their last reply was a mere paragraph. If they return and continue to push the issue, however, I have found evidence that some of the information from Young's Black Belt Magazine is incorrect. It negates their "right time, right place" synthesis argument.

Contributions to E De people

Thank you for the recent contributions to E De people, they appear to be well thought out. However, these contributions are largely useless to Wikipedia because they do not meet WP:Verifiability standards. I apologize for the resistance on the citation additions to the BaguaZhang page. While I agree the multiple citations are overkill specific to Fu Style, the article is very weak in its citations, generally speaking. Dark Ages

In Dark ages you removed one of my entries. You state they are removed because:
1. The Australian Hellenistic web site is questionable. They may be an oppressed minority and not have the resources to hire a staff for IS, but they are most certainly recognized internationally as a valid religious organization. I would strongly recommend that you find out about this religion before it becomes public knowledge that Wikipedia is practicing religious oppression.
2. You say there is a POV problem. This leaves me with three generic problems. Either you are so arrogant that you believe you are above the authors and do not have to justify your statements (as in I am god and you better believe what I say) or you actually have no justifiable POV issue and are just using it to suppress historical facts, or there is actually a POV issue I am not aware of. Which is it?
3. You say there is an OR problem. And again you do not say what the OR problem is, so I must repeat the question, Which is it?. I make one summery of one of Mr. Rassias books. This is not OR. I then summarize the works of another of Mr. Rassias' books and you call this OR? I did not EVER provide any opinion or imply any opinion in my summaries, so they cannot be OR! I did supply a link to another review of Mr. Rassias' books - the sight you called questionable.

I should have blocked this IP address this morning when I blocked the other IP address being used by the same problem. When unblocked, the IP can take their complaints to the appropriate noticeboard. This is a fringe religious organisation and their views belong in their article at Hellenic Polytheistic Reconstructionism but not at [{Dark Ages]]. Bodhidharma

Thanks for the editing on Bodhidharma. Nice details. I made two changes: Dumoulin does not mention Tamil Nadu, so I gave Tstuomu Kambe & Zvelebil as references. There is a web-link to Tstuomu Kambe, and the content of Zvelebil can be checked on the Discussion Page. And I changed 'Tamil Nadu' to the often-mentioned "third son of a Pallavine king from Kanchipuram". This is the "specific tradition" that is mentioned by Tstuomu Kambe & Zvelebil - and poorly substantiated, actually. But maybe, just maybe, this is satisfactory for both sides. And, to my opninion, "Some traditions specifically describe" is nicely balanced stated. Friendly regards, Joshua Jonathan ( talk) 19:25, 24 November 2011 (UTC) reply

A recent edit, which seems to have changed little or nothing, has an edit summary accusing someone of "anti-Nordic POV" inter alia. I made quite a lot of changes, so little remains of the off-topic haplogroup material. Come and see what you think. Should the map of haplogroup I1 be there? I think probably not. I did supply a link to another review of Mr. Rassias' books - the sight you called questionable.

I would appreciate it if you would address these 3 issues you created, thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.45.18.232 ( talk) 04:39, 11 April 2011 (UTC) reply

For your help at Walam Olum. I'm fed up with an editor who took the right to vanish and continues editing, now with another IP backing him up, so have gone to SPI. Dougweller ( talk) 07:29, 28 June 2011 (UTC) reply

Nogais pictures

You posted this. " this is only partially backed by the source, and what is supported is out of place here" on the Golden horde. I think the Nogai people themselves would know about their own history more than you and I. There the ones who claimed to be the descendants of the Golden horde, as-swell did Russian historian and scholars.

Here are pictures of the Nogai people of live in southern Russia and Northern Caucasus.

Disambiguation link notification for June 23

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of loanwords in Tagalog, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Negros ( check to confirm |  fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You’ve got it backwards. Chinatours took their content from an earlier version of this page, and I know this because I actually wrote much of that content for WP several years ago, cited to academic sources. You can check that out from my 15 Feb 2009 edits, among others. Some of that content was lost w/o explanation in some edits a few months back, which is what I was adding back in.
