I'm sorry for the useless edits I've made. As a new user, I didn't realize that Wikipedia is this strict. I'll make sure that any minor edits I make will be contributing, just as my 1st edit was. As for my username, I want to change it to something personal, "markp1904" seems to be available. Overall, my main purpose of starting an account was so that I can get an autoconfirmed status in order distinguish myself as a legitimate user and conform to the guidelines. Please note - autoconfirmed status is simply a way of limiting certain permissions to accounts which have sufficient history that they are less likely to be disruptive (and serves to prevent certain individuals from being persistently disruptive). It is a consequence of being a constructive editor, not an ends in itself or a goal/target to aim for. Concentrate on being a good editor first and the rest will come with time.
