A tag has been placed on File:AdobeInCopyCS5 75x75.svg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

F1 (redundant file: File:Adobe InCopy logo.svg); simply a PNG in an SVG container

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. — danhash ( talk) 20:45, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion contested: MDU Hall

Hello JCRules, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of MDU Hall, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7: The article has sufficient references to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Eastmain ( talkcontribs) 13:29, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi JCRules, just wanted to inform you on the issue with this following image: File:Apple-logo.svg. The main is that it is not a proper SVG and contains embedded vector graphics. If you have the time, could you please convert this image to actual vector graphics? Thanks a lot. 7 7 7 — 13:05, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Re: 2012 U.S. diplomatic missions attacks title

I actually fully agree with you that "U.S." should be removed. The thing is, we currently have an open move request, and really have to follow those guidelines. Particularly when an admin reverted the page recently when it was moved by someone else similarly.

I tried to get consensus myself for using the exact name you moved the page to as a temporary measure while the move discussion goes on, but there was opposition to that, unfortunately. Yeah, this does kind of suck for a breaking news article, in that we can't get reasonable consensus on what seems fairly certain (that we'll end up removing "U.S." at the very least), but we do need to follow the move request guidelines.

You're more than welcome to chime in at the move request and hopefully help get consensus built more quickly. –  2001:db8:: ( rfc |  diff) 03:06, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Sorry!

Better source request for File:Wwwf logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Wwwf logo.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG ( talk) 17:49, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Hey JCRules. I'm dropping you a note because you used to (or still do!) patrol new pages. This is just to let you know that we've deployed and developed Page Curation, which augments and supersedes Special:NewPages - there are a lot of interesting new features :).
