The current page is wanting and in serious need of expansion and updating. There is no information on the field outside of the United States excepting a small amount of information about the UK, despite serious differences in training and scope of practice between the US and other countries. As a Registered Radiologic Technologist , I can assure you that is correct. As soon as I can gather the information I will post updated information to the article. I have already added a few quick things I knew I could quickly attribute to online sources and cleaned up the writing somewhat (hopefully).
The related page on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists is also a mess in need of updating and conformance to standards - it was before tonight written much like a press release. I have only scratched the surface of what needs to happen there.
If there are RTs among the editors, especially from other countries, your input to improve the article would be greatly appreciated.
