Your Question

Well the organizations that the article says MSA is linked to, which might not necessarily be true are terrorist organizations such as Jamaat-e-Islami. Also why is it frowned upon to remove messages from your OWN talkpage? 8.04 06:02, 24 September 2006 (UTC) reply

Islamic Saudi Academy and Muslim Students' Association

  • Both of these articles have been used as soapboxes for tying Islamic groups with terrorism by a user who went by the name Freestylefrappe (and a lot of other puppets), who was recently banned for being disruptive. The articles used to read like a laundry-list of unsourced allegations of terrorism and vague claims of ties to terrorist agencies, with hardly any information about the subject of the article itself. I've been trying to bring some kind of balance to the articles (while still incorporating all of the valid, sourced information he provided) for a while now; looking over the edit histories of these articles will confirm that (particularly the ISA article).
  • The new user WTPP came and reverted both articles back to versions last edited by FSF (from 11 days ago, over many good edits); these were the only edits he's made in wikipedia mainspace, without any discussion on the talk page. I assumed it was Freestylefrappe again, which is why I used the 'rvv' tag in my edit summary.
  • The MSA article contained a long list of allegations, the sole source of which is a right-wing smear website of highly dubious reliability. I posted my objections on the talk page, requesting reliable sources, but didn't get any, so I removed the sections. I'm not sure if you intended to, but you just reverted back to that version. Just scan the first paragraph: "...osama bin laden...recruits fighters...terrorist organization...funneling money...swastika..." - is it a wonder user 8.04 mentioned POV issues on the talk page? ("This articles makes it seem as if MSA is a terrorist organization when this has never been proven true.")
  • Of course you're right about reverting copyvios; I simply meant the sections he objected to (which were apparently taken from the school's about page by user MOI, with very little modification) contained information which was still useful in the article, which could paraphrased (valid, as long as the source is cited - which it was) or be put in a quote-block.

I didn't call him an "Ass" that was a typo - read the sentance "Do not remove valid warnings from your, or any other users talk page ass [SIC] you did to ...". It was a simple typo that I hadn't noticed, going to correct it.

I qualified my statements about admins with "some" as you'll notice. Since I am not talking about anyone in specific I don't consider it a personal attack, but I change it to be more polite.

Administrators before have advised me that there is nothing wrong with my comment about Dasondas on my talk page, since it is true and I can prove it with wikipedia diffs. Lordkazan 03:04, 30 September 2006 (UTC) reply

DRK, thanks for weighing in on the LordKazan situation. I do not believe that any administrator has sanctioned his comments about me or agreed with him that they are true. In fact they are not, and I have been ruminating for some time about exactly how I want to respond (most likely RFC -- either my own or, now, through that of JBKramer) to the numerous attacks and incivilities that have been directed against me by this user at various locations around Wikipedia. At least one administrator has asked him to remove the comments in question on his Talk Page, and at least one other has described his interactions with me as intolerant. He has received an NPA warning for his communications with me, and JBKramer and I are not the only editors with whom he currently has disputes. You will note that one of JBKramer's allegations (with which I agree) is that LordKazan has been known to present incomplete or misleading information to previously-uninvolved administrators in an attempt to co-opt their sympathies or otherwise manipulate their opinions. I don't want to take up more of your time than necessary right now, but please don't hesitate to communicate further with me if you want additional information or clarifications. Thanks. Dasondas 16:02, 30 September 2006 (UTC) reply

DRK, you can start with these [1], [2], [3], and [4]. The first three have to do with me, the fourth with another user. There are numerous other examples that I haven't provided here. Please be aware also that he has made several references to what he thinks are my religious beliefs -- beliefs which I have never discussed at Wikipedia. Nevertheless, anybody who does hold the religious beliefs he attributes to me would certainly find his statements offensive. There are diffs available that show another user, heretofore uninvolved in the current communications, who discusses the offensiveness of such statements. There are also diffs available from an administrator involved in trying to mediate a previous dispute with LordKazan who says flatly that some of his views are religiously intolerant. I created the redirect Russian military headquarters in Tbilisi two days before the article on the Georgia-Russia spying dispute was even created. I am hoping that someone would expand it into an article (or redirect it to Russian military forces in the Caucasus), and explain what these troops are doing there. The link now redirects to Transcaucasian Front, the section on Russian Transcaucasus Group of Forces covers the post-soviet forces. -- Petri Krohn 03:07, 2 October 2006 (UTC) reply
