Welcome to Wikipedia

Welcome and thank you for your edits to Colossosuchus, they are very much appreciated. Sorry to revert your change to the taxobox image, while I do agree that having three species is less than ideal the image does do a good job at displaying the skull shape, which tends to be the most recognizable thing with most pseudosuchians and is therefore preferable to a dorsal view. Again I apologize, but your illustration still makes for a good addition to the main text of the article.

Something good to know that many new artists/editors aren't aware of is that there is actually a review process for paleoart on Wikipedia. It's a mere formality, but for transparency's sake people are "required" to upload such restorations to Wikipedia:WikiProject Palaeontology/Paleoart review where potential suggestions can be made. Again its mostly formality and an extra step to ensure that restorations hold up scientifically. Just upload your pieces (including Colossosuchus) there, tho heads up I can tell you that I don't see any immediate issues with your art of it (nice job with the osteoderms, many people forget that they are distinct from modern crocodilians).

Happy editing. Armin Reindl ( talk) 17:02, 8 February 2024 (UTC) reply

Jaklapallisaurus issues

I was reviewing your recent edits to Jaklapallisaurus and noted that much of the added text was directly copied from the recent osteological description. It is fine to add information from that source, but make sure you rephrase it first to avoid plagiarism (see WP:COPYPASTE). I removed it for now, but feel free to re-add the information if you can reword it. (Also make sure you always italicize species names.) Thanks, - SlvrHwk ( talk) 19:20, 26 February 2024 (UTC) reply

Alrighty. thanks! I'll keep that in mind! DNB XD ( talk) 11:41, 27 February 2024 (UTC) reply
