Question about NPV for Two Loons for Tea

A music review is inherently going to be subjective (i.e. one reviewer can say it's the most brilliant band in the history of the world, and the next could say the band is terrible -- neither one is right or wrong, it's just an opinion.) So, even though there's a source saying they "flawlessy weave indie pop simplicity with thick jazz grooves to mold a sound that is hard to deny as anything less than stunning," that doesn't mean it's NPOV. In addition to being NPOV, it's also a direct quote from the review, so there's a copyright issue.

That being said, you could keep some of the quotes. However, you would have to phrase it as something along the lines of:

Under the Gun describes the music as "flawlessly weave[d] indie pop simplicity with thick jazz grooves..."

If you lift a direct quote from another source, please make sure to put it is quotation marks. However, Wikipedia has fairly strict copyright rules, so try to limit direct quotes as much as possible.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions.

Btw, I've never heard of this band, but the description definitely makes me want to check them out. Anything in particular you recommend I start with? :) JoelWhy ( talk) 12:45, 28 March 2012 (UTC) reply
